1MDB 100

1. The management of Government finances is governed by laws, rules, regulations and practices. Companies also have similar systems but Government manages huge sums of money, basically the people’s money and it is imperative that the managers follow the laws, rules and regulations.

2. Corruption prevails in almost all Governments. But usually they involve relatively small sums. The work of auditors are supplemented by special anti-corruption authorities to ensure that as little as possible of Government money is misused, abused or basically stolen by the people authorised to manage it.

3. Governments can lose money through bad investments. We would know where the money is lost. But when huge sums of money disappear, then those entrusted with its management must answer for the disappearance. Disappearance is different from just losing. Disappearance is about money lost which cannot be traced. This can be because of corruption or theft.

4. In Malaysia the PM and DPM usually hold one extra portfolio. Usually the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Defence alternate between the two. Occasionally while waiting for suitable candidate, the Ministry of Finance is held by the PM. Dato Sri Najib however prefers to keep the Ministry of Finance under him all the time. He has appointed a second Minister of Finance. This is his prerogative of course, but he must ultimately be responsible for what happens to the country’s finances.

5. The first requisite for the management of Government money is the yearly budget. Prepared by the Ministry of Finance from feedbacks by all ministries and departments, the budget is first presented to the Cabinet. If passed it is then presented to Parliament.

6. Government is expected to spend money according to the budget. If the yearly budget cannot meet an urgent need of the Government, a supplementary budget can be presented by Cabinet to Parliament. Drafts of the budgets are prepared by officers of the Ministry. Government raises money through taxes and fees of all kinds. Government may own special businesses such as Petronas, which may contribute to the budget.

7. In Malaysia there is also off-budget-funds which may not be presented to Parliament but are still subject to scrutiny and approval of the Cabinet.

8. Cabinet papers are secret of course. But in the case of 1MDB the presentation to the Cabinet and approval by it seems to be unclear. There seems to be attempts to hide behind official secrecy.

9. What we do know is that 1MDB has as its advisor the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. It is inexcusable that the management which is appointed by the PM would reject his advice. So like the British Advisor of old, the advice of the Advisor is a directive.

10. Since then three CEOs of 1MDB have resigned without explanation. Could it be because they could not accept the advice!

11. The Government invested one million Ringgit in the 1MDB. According to known records 1MDB then borrowed from various sources 42 billion Ringgit.

12. A company with 1 million Ringgit capital with no assets cannot borrow 42,000 times its capital with no collaterals. That 1MDB is able to do so is because of Government guarantees.

13. In other words it is Government which is borrowing the money. If 1MDB loses money, the Government will bear the loss. Yet the operation of 1MDB is not overseen by Government officers responsible for the management of Government funds.

14. Why has the 1MDB become controversial? What is wrong with 1MDB?

15. From the beginning it was wrong. It started off as an off-budget and it was not put before the Parliament.

16. The money was borrowed. So it is not sovereign wealth but sovereign debt.

17. The bond raised by Goldman Sachs costs more than is usual for Government borrowings. The interest rate at 5.9% was too high. Government loans usually attract about 3% or below.

18. In addition 10% commission went to Goldman Sachs which means that 1MDB gets only 90% of the money borrowed yet has to pay interest on 100%, raising the interest rate to 6.6%. Averaging at 6%, yearly interest on 42 billion Ringgit is about RM 2.5 billion. Since 2009 there has been no income from all the assets. And 1MDB had to borrow RM2 billion to pay the interest. The loan is now RM42 billion.

19. Total initial borrowings amounted to 42,000,000,000 (42 billion Ringgit). As far as can be ascertained the investments are as follows:

a. Purchase of Tanjong Energy (now known as Powertek Energy Sdn Bhd) from Ananda Krishnan for RM 8.5 billion. This is higher than market price. The licence was about to expire.

b. Purchase of Genting Sanyen Power (now known as Kuala Langat Power Plant) for RM 2.3 billion. Again high above market price. The licence was abut to expire.

c. Purchase of Jimah Energy for RM 1.2 billion.

d. Purchase of 70 acres of land in Jalan Tun Razak for RM320 million i.e: RM64.00 psf. Land last sold in the area was at RM7,000 psf.

e. Purchase of 495 acres of land in the former Sungai Besi TUDM airport (now known as Bandar Malaysia) about RM 363.5 million i.e: at RM 91.00 psf. Estimated value RM1,000 psf.

f. Purchase of 234 acres land in Air Itam in Penang RM 1.38 billion i.e: at RM135.00 psf.

20. It should be noted that TRX land is close to land recently sold at RM7000.00 psf. Assuming the market price is RM3000.00 psf the true value of this land is 6 billion Ringgit. The Government has therefore lost 5 billion plus because 1MDB paid only RM320 million.

21. With regard to the Sungai Besi Airport land, 1MDB paid 363.5 million Ringgit for 495 acres – i.e at RM91 psf. Assuming market price for this land is RM1000 psf. the Government lost approximately 20 billion Ringgit.

22. The land in Penang is of poor quality and has more than 1000 squatters. Yet 1MDB paid RM1.3 billion i.e at RM 135 psf.

23. These are all the purchases that are known. They all add up to RM14.7 billion. So there is approximately 27 billion Ringgit left.

24. More than 1billion US Dollars were said to be paid to Petro Saudi without verification as to the value of this company or its assets.

25. Where is the rest of the money?

26. A certain amount was registered in the Cayman Islands. What was the money used for? What was brought back to Malaysia. What was brought back and deposited in a Swiss bank in Singapore. Why? Where was the money brought back from? Why is this money not used to pay the RM 2 billion interest. Why did Bank Negara allow the first tranche to be repatriated to Malaysia and not the second tranche. Now the Swiss bank has told the Singapore authorities that the document did not originate from them and does not represent a true account of the assets of 1MDB. So where is the money said to be registered in the Cayman Islands and is now brought back.

27. Clearly 1MDB is not getting any return from its investments. Not only is it losing money but the Government has lost money when 1MDB paid only RM683 million for TRX and Sungai Besi. Total loss incurred by the Government is approximately 25 billion Ringgit.

28. 1MDB revalued all its assets at 52 billion Ringgit. That is because Government land was brought at far below the market price. It can only use this money to repay loans if it succeeds in selling them off as land or after development. Progress on TRX is very slow and there is no work on Sungai Besi land. No money will be generated during development; only outflows.

29. It is this disappearance of a huge amount of borrowed money by 1MDB and the inability to answer questions regarding what happened to the funds that disqualifies Najib from being Prime Minister of Malaysia.

“…. Pm Najib wanted to move malaysia to the next level, but as bapa pemodenan, why tok det tak support beliau?…”

You must be a bonafide nut-case.., Hantu Bukit Cina (3/4) 456.

What ‘next level’ are you babbling about.., huh..? How can Bapa Pemodenan support a dubious business scam in the name of ‘Development’..?

You do not need not listen to the exposure of Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli over the past several years on the business antics of 1MDB.., or even the recent complaints of Tun Dr. Mahathir on the debt and scam of 1MDB.

Why not you just subscribe (on-line – for FREE) and pay attention to the Sarawak Report and simply find out all the Wheeling & Dealing of 1MDB that has been going-on for past 6 years.

Anyway, here are some recent news release by Sarawak Report as per these URLs below:-
(Najib’s Son is Still A Significant Shareholder of Ufun-Linked Company)
(Jho Low – How PM “Agreed” Plans To Make USD500M (“Minimum”) Profit From Insider Deal Against CIMB/Maybank)

Thus to me.., Jho Low is nothing more than a typical Con-man. If any better then he may be as some sort of an ‘Economic Hit-Man’ at the behest of some external financial forces and powers.., and thus he is quite ‘protected’.

As far as Dato’ Seri Najib is concerned.., he must come must to realise that on the 1MDB issue, he has been taken for ride in his over-ambitious and elusive schemes. So the only ‘next level’ that he can expect is to.., descend..!

It is all too obvious. It is either he withdraws from power and authority with dignity.., or to be subsequently bought down with disgrace by the masses.

    So.., HBT456,

Do you think that Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli are totally wrong about Dato’ Seri Najib on the 1MDB issue..? So.., do you reckon that Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli are trying to ruin Dato Seri Najib’s effort to move Malaysia onto the ‘next level’.., is it..?

It is so ironic that even a pea-brain like yourself.., can also be quite a hypocrite..!

    Cheerio for now.

For 678TeohHockBeng. What do you Singaporeans from the Ministry of Information, Phoenix Park, Singapore know about us Malaysians. Here are some gems for you to take home to Ang Mo Kio which your late Ruler (1959-2015) tried to turn into the Canton of Vaud but gave up when he found that your tiny isle of a homeland could just fit into Lake Geneva ! Here are the gems and these are no wee little gems like yours from Singapore !

    1. My father founded the first Chinese Secondary School, the Confucian School,in Kuala Lumpur in 1906.
    2. In 1969, I was offered the State seat of Kuala Kubu Baru, Selangor. I was assured it was the best seat for a Chinaman. I took the advice from my advisers, the most Senior Chinese Adviser on Counter-insurgency to the Federal Government and the UMNO Youth !
    3. In 1973, I was offered the Federal seat of Batu Berendam, Melaka by the incumbent himself. I was assured I would be the Deputy Minister of Finance, the only one. Again, I took the advice of my advisers.

OK. HockBengTeoh890, what wee advice can you give me now ? It seems you have to suck your own wee eggs !

It is good, very good that oran pointed out that all the Malaysian financial scandals were not connected with eunuchs. Of course, the closest advisers have the same function of the eunuchs of ancient China. Why did the Emperors employed eunuchs to do the jobs ? It was because each Emperor had a harem of at least 100 concubines. The Emperors did not want normal and full blooded men running wild in the harems. Present day technology showed these advisory types having orgies in technicolour ! Besides, the Emperors did not want to dirty their hands like writing an edict. Even this, the eunuchs just applied the Imperial Seal on the documents. With close assess to the Emperors, the eunuchs could give good or bad advice.
The closest advisers in the Malaysian financial scandals had the same function as the eunuchs of ancient China. They could make or break their Patrons like the eunuchs. They could also hide behind the trousers of their Patrons too. Here is one true case for you, oran.

My friend a Chinese was the first to be given a task by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to do in the national interest in the early days of the Tun’s Admiinistration. He found it could not be done and told the Tun bluntly. If he had carried on like the rest of the closest advisers subsequently, this task would have been the Mother of all Malaysian financial scandals. My Chinese friend was honest and loyal, and definitely not a eunuch. Why the rest of the closest advisers kept mum and did not alert the Boss early on in each scandal ? Even in the case of the 1MDB debt which ran up to RM 42 Billions debt ? Surely the closest adviser is not dumb, blind and deaf and definitely not a eunuch ? I used the term eunuch metaphorically.

Have you heard of the saying ‘ make hay while the sun shines, oran’ ?

On first glance, the screaming headline in today’s New Straits Times ‘Dr M’s ethical years and BMF case’ which blared out in connection with the article written by a friend of my youth, did not jive with the body of information therein. These snippets were inaccurate and out of the chronology with the actual events which took place. The article was so emotionally charged that what should have been a well-written article turned out to be just anothe spin by a spin-maestro. This is a travesty of justice to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad who took the Prime Ministership office in early 1981. Here are the glaring errors in this now unimportant article of no substance.

    1. The headline, ‘ Dr M’s ethical years and BMF case. Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad took office in January 1981. For example the writer said firmly, ‘For example, the country’s oldest English language broadsheet, the New Straits Times, felt constrained to editorialise on Sept 23, 1978, no doubt more in sorrow than in anger, there was once a time when a Malaysian……For whatever the reason, the present conditions have called forth a litany of exhortations against corruption.’ What has Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad got to do with this in 1978 ? A magic show with thick smoke and mirrors ?

    2. Then, more of the same false information with the intent of dragging Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad into the quagmire of the absurd, ‘ ‘Soon after Dr Mahathir took over the reins of government, a horrendous financial scandal engulfed Bank Bumiputra Berhad, incorporatd in 1978 as the vehicle to launch the Malays into business. Touted as the flagship of the New Economic Policy, by 1988 it had assets worth more than US$15 bilion (RM54 billion) Bank Bumiputra Berhad was NOT incorporated in 1978. It was incorporated in 1966 during the administration of our first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman. What has Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad got to do with this in 1981 ? Please get your facts right, Sir !
    3. More dramatic fictional description of the workings of the BMF, the wholly owned subsidiary of Bank Bumiputra Berhad by the writer..’…Moving aggressively into overseas ventures, lending recklessly to politically well-connected companies and individuals, many of them possessed neither the capacity nor the intention of repaying the loans. The bank shifted large sums of money to its wholly owned subsidiary, Bumiputra Malaysia Finance Limited (BMF), which in turn lent in total close to US$1 billion to a Hong Kong $2 company called Plessey Investment Limited and another, Carrian Investment Limited. George Tan, the man behind Carrian within months of the BMF money going through the books, ran his company into the ground. Billions disappeared into thin air.’ What has Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad who became Prime Minister in January 1981 got to do with this dramatic description of diminishing values – a figment of the writer’s imagination. Besides, the Tun was no Houdini ! But this description fits my comment that it is the closest aide which caused all the financial scandals. The 1MDB is not exceptional. It is only a 21st Century phenomenon.
    4. The writer generously commented by giving himself a pat on his own shoulders,’ I have highlighted just one incident that I was prepared to treat in a spirit of charity as an aberration.’ From the facts which I have provided that this article is only a clever spin to catch the ignorant off their guard, it was to pin the BMF Scandal on Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad by spinning fiction as fact. This is not professional in any sense of the word.

The following facts should debunk the whole article titled ‘ Dr M’s ethical years and BMF case.’ as a non-starter.

    1. The article consisting of fictional innuendos was based on the BMF Scandal which had nothing to do with the Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad 1981-2003. It was out of time-line as shown from facts presented by me.
    2. How could Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad be involved in the BMF Scandal when one headline on the front page of the New Straits Times blared, ‘ IT IS A HEINOUS CRIME SAID THE PRIME MINISTER.’ during that period. Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad could not have condemned himself ! And yet he is of sound mind and body up to now.
    3. For the curious and the writer, the tail end of the BMF SCANDAL CAUGHT TUN DR MAHATHIR MOHAMAD’S ADMINISTRATION BEGINNING JANUARY 1981.’ This is the truth.
    4. All the personalities mentioned in this fictitious article did not owe their political loyalty to the PRIME MINISTER TUN DR MAHATHIR MOHAMAD.
    5. My Chinese friend was an independent observer right on the spot during those exiting times. He told me that George Tan was like the closest aide behind 1MDB – a Chinaman.

For want of more darts to throw at the Tun, it is better for the spin-maestros to get their facts right to be effective. Otherwise, such articles are only fit for the dust-bin.

MALAYSIA BOLEH ! MALAYS BOLEH ! MALAYSIANS BOLEH ! In our country either we are related or close friends. How far can we run ?

  13. oran May 4,2015 8:01 PM

I beg to differ from respected mubarakchan on his theory of the 1mdb fiasco.

No this has nothing to do with eunuchs. It was a planned operation and openly documented. One Robert Perkins wrote a book about it titled ‘ Confessions of an Economic Hitman ‘. Or you can go to YT and type ‘ The truth behind the Greek Economic Crisis ‘ .

But why did Najib agreed to it ? He must have promises…promises….but what are they ?
The one that come immediately to my mind is ; backdoor to Hollywood and related fame.
But why Hollywood ? Well some people think that’s the way to go…..ultimate in glamour.

And who owns Hollywood ? Jews of course, so they must be involved in this plan. Afterall it involves plenty of money and usury.
As to the other promises, perhaps it involves some kind of political and financial security.
Whether this will work (for him)….we’ll see.

It was no surprise when I noticed another screaming headline in the naive, hospitable and friendly UMNO owned New Straits Times, ‘ ‘Dr M’s ethical years and BMF case.’ this morning. A excellent essay written by a friend from my youth.
He highlighted certain facts which underlined my contention that the financial scandals of Malaysia were due mainly to the closest aides or eunuchs who were the equivalent in the courts of the emperors of ancient China.
Presidents, Prime Ministers, Rulers and Emperors do not lift up the phone to buy and to sell. There are always teams of closest aides or eunuchs to do the job. With the trust foisted upon these lucky fellows who naturally dreamt the unthinkable dreams, each followed their own secret agends which went paralletl to the instructions of the President, Prime Minister, Ruler or Emperor. In my other comments, I have already highlighted one foreign closest aide in KL who could now collect Stradivarius violins at US$ 5 Millions a piece (by abusing his patron’s trust) which he lent to the Singapore Philaharmonic and not to the KL Philharmonic. This is gratitude for you and me !
The writer went on, ‘ …..Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad accepted an arrangement based on incestuous relations between senior politicians and bank officials and that his client simply carried out orders.’ As the saying goes, ‘ There’s many a slip betwixt the cup and the lips !’ No one really knew whether the closest aide followed the orders loyally or not ! The good writer confirms what I have been saying about the closest aides in my previous comments.
‘ Scapegoats or, to use the modern expression, fall guys were quickly identified and “persuaded” to fall on their swords.’ ……..asked Lorrain who was behind the Carrian affair ? He aske me whether I thought that he alone could have made the decision to move billions of US dollars without instructions from from ‘high above’? I had the answer I had been after all these years.’
These sentences crafted by the writer again confirms that it is best to revert back to the very beginning, or the basics. By correlation between the past and the present, there is no doubt that the closest aides or eunuchs or scapegoats were involved in each and every one of the financial scandals. Why did they continue with the tasks when these could not be done and did not advise ‘ high above.’? Yes ! They countinued on and on. Finally, they hid behind the trousers of whoever was their Boss !
It is an opportune time at this moment that the 1MDB (as it is still an on-going affair) has brought the question of proper governance of our beloved Malaysia’s public finances to the fore.. Within this purview, the authorities have the purported closest aide of no standing, the controversial RM 42 Billions debt, and thousands of the citizens seeking blood in the arena, in their sights. To quote the good writer again, ‘ We will, in our current climate of openness, get a lot faster to the bottom of 1MDB’s shortcomings, if indeed there are problems, than we got out of the investigations into financial and other excesses during the lost ethical years when Dr Mahathir was prime minister.’ I could not agree with the good writer more. Syabas !
Now, it is a good time for the Prime Minister to be like President Xi JinPeng to show to the World our beloved Malaysia has no room for the closest aides or eunuchs who brought all these titanic financial scandals upon us, the Rakyat. We certainly do not want to be No.1 on any World Corruption Index !

..Bodoh!! The way you drive give trouble to others!! (aku tulis ni not merely for club members, but to ALL ‘insane’ drivers out there!! Dengan pecut macam ‘melayang’, signal tak bagi, lampu kuat macam sial bila bawak malam, tinted tak ingat, bunyi eksos kuat macam haram..You are giving danger to others lah bodoh!!..Ko nak bunuh diri, mati sorang2 itu lu punya pasal lah, tapi please consider other road users while you hit the road!! Orang yang tak bersalah kena pasal ko aper hal!! Bodoh!! I also did notice foreigners are driving freely in malaysia..diorang ini ada lesen ker??kalau jadi apa2 baru semua nak sibuk!! Ramai sangat bahaya bro!! Sorry guys, I have to say this in my own rude way, since I LOVE THIS COUNTRY and Insya-Allah my life and family members, but these fuckers sometimes make my angry!! Haram Jaddah!! Bawa kereta/ bas/ motor macam beruk!! Dalam public transport pun perangai macam beruk!! Sorry guys, May Allah protect us always, Amin!! To add, kadang2 bawak motor malam lampu tak bukak, bahaya orang lain lah beruk!! Since Porsche with 8 air bags also killed people, inikan kita orang biasa..Tolong bawa kenderaan awak pakai otak dan pikir orang lain sama..

…i must say this…kelmarin 1st May 2015 (setelah lama tak ‘navigate’ kuala lumpur), i did notice this situation, which made me to lose my control because of others in several occations..Pertama (berlaku di kawasan mines), dengan signal tak bagi, terhegeh-hegeh tengah jalan tak tahu nak pergi mana, agak menyusahkan orang lain, they were in their luxurious vehicles (bukan hang seorang yang pakai jalan tu kawan)!!! For your information, after cruising kl lately (to see day and light life in our beloved country), these aliens are everywhere!!! Huh, penat dan sakit mata bila tengok/tertengok…di restoran (service industry), semua puak2 mereka…Malaysia Boleh!!! To add, while we hit the road, kereta kebanyakannya ‘melayang’ atas jalan…ko nak bunuh diri ker? kalau mati sorang2 tak apa, ni dah la kemalangan, tapi menyusahkan pengguna-pengguna jalanraya yang lain…MyVi/bas dan lain2 kenderaan ‘melayang’ laju banyak juga aku jumpa, jangan jadi macam Porsche Carrera 911 putih yang accident hari itu (Encik Azman-i knew him, wasa very nice guy and very humble as well with the family members)…that’s why i like to see news, to take lessons from it…Bila bawa kenderaan malam pulak dah, lampu terang nak mampus…ko tak consider orang lain ker? Lagi, ada juga yang aku perasan foreigners yang bawa teksi…mereka naik motor without helmets, naik kereta…ini adalah di antara beruk-beruk yang aku jumpa, then sometimes i lose my temper!!! Semua sama, negara kita belum maju lagi kawan macam Amerika, Jepun, Eropah…then you want to tax us…G.S.T….agak susah la jugak sebab aku bukan berada kawan!!! Thanks for reading, wan (agak tertekan kebelakangan ini, but don’t worry guys, i’m ok, but only sometimes bila tak tahan dan terpaksa…tq,wan…n…peace ;P…)…Apakah semua ‘pancaroba’ hidup ini???hehehe…;D…Last but not least, pihak berkenaan perlu check balik traffic lights di sekitar kuala lumpur..saya nyaris dilanggar bila berjalan kaki di sekitar bandaraya kuala lumpur..kejap lampu merah, kejap lampu hijau..kejap tak menyala langsung..menyusahkan penjala-penjalan kaki..should have an effective system lah encik, untuk menjaga keselamatan dan imej negara..Lastly, penunggang2 yang melawan arus (terturatamanya motosikal)..bahayalah beb!! Tolonglah kami….Sekian, Terima Kasih..

    Assalamualaikum, Tun.

It is up to him to say what he wants, similarly, it is up to opposition mps say what they want. suing one another will create another huge white elephant. Suka tak suka, ds najib is the pm, and his mandate ends in next general election. no one can decide who is the pm, only political parties and voters can decide in every 5 years.

    Salam sejahtera Tun,
Masalah yg berbangkit ttg 1MDB ini nilainya besar lbhkrg RM50B tetapi penyalahgunaan Dana Kemanusiaan Nusantara sejak Tun lawat Vatican lebih besar lbhkrg sepuluh kali ganda yg dah masok dlm RM . Semuanya senyap hilang entah kemana, termasuk Daeng Parani . Mohon tolong jelaskan (emel). Terima kasih Tun.

There’s no evidence that the government guarantees 1MDB loans. If 1MDB defaults, then Goldman Sachs are the ones responsible to settle those foreign loans.

    Liputan dari Puan Hajar
His brother (DS Nazir, ‘You are not alone’; he is with his brother…) is actually supporting him (PM) with regards to 1MDB. To DS Nazir, 1MDB is just a small problem/issue. He even said, ‘My STRONG advice is to put this issue (1MDB) behind us’. Wow! Is it going to be that easy?

DS Nasir ada buat Kenyataan ini
    Yang jadi soal saya

Siapa dia DS Nazir berhak to give the strong advise to put the 1MDB behind ?

Saya harap suara kita menyedarkan Tun Najib
Sekali lagi tujuannnya bukan untuk menurunkan Najib
Tapi untuk memberi beliau perluang memperbaiki

Kata Tuni Najib di Berita baru kini
I will not back down and surrender, Najib says amid criticism

Ya it his right to say so
I loves a strong stubborn Leader
But Najib 1 MDB is an important issue now
You have to solve it We want to see

    With regards of Ayatatul murder
Many have assumptions pointing finger at Najib
Plse come forward if its right
Don’t make assumptions ,Don,t point point
Assumptions is the very cause of all the mother Fxxker
    Malaysia has the system

Above all these it has defame Najib

Most important is the the Truth of What we Malaysia want for Malaysia or is it
Simply its the Opposition intentions or other personal differences that are against Najib or UMNO
    To meet their personal Agendas
If so Malaysia will be at Stakes

    Myself also pay GST
Not that I have much money
In Reality any Govt needs money
GST seen to be the best form today governing
Opposition DAP seems to Oppose but be sure
They will implement GST, tougher Sedition , ISA
upon their ruling. Their Siblings PAP did so They don,t comment
Are we seeing transparency here ?

Any unavoidable unhappiness , uneasiness done by Najib Govt be it seen to be incompetence or failure
Must not be an instrument for Opposition to benefits & advantage
Its a massage that has to be put across & Najib has to made up

    Najib kena jaga image
Lady Gaga suruh duk rumah saja , masak
Sekali sekali bawalah, Potong Ribon ke , Tanam Pokok ke
Kasihan pula Isteri Najib , hak Najib

I am just an ordinary Malaysian toiling daily to deliver basic necessities to my family. Throughout my 20 over years of work, I have yet to see any major/minor changes in the way corruption is being handled. Any prosecution of known politicians so far? Answer is clear right!

As a layman, one question is always at the tip of my tongue. I am not too bothered at all having ministers declaring their assets. But I am asking, all ministers/politicians to declare the schools/colleges/universities of which their children are attending!! The answer will clearly show that our education system had totally failed even the ministers/politicians alike. And yet anyone doing anything so far? Proudly claiming our education system is among the world’s best should be countered with the findings to my mentioned question above. Then you will how BEST it is our system!!

The latest case of bribery scandal whereby the South Korean PM tendering her resignation to the President clearly show both high level of accountability and transparency. But what is happening in Malaysia so far? No public/rakyat accountability on current 1MDB and leaked of UPSR questions had blown by the wind (among many others………..)

As a true blue Malaysian rakyat, I am extremely disappointed, felt totally useless and most important absolute shameful to those in power, especially in this era of globalisation. Everybody is getting away Scots Free!!

    Back to toiling again………..

  26. Hajar Apr 29,2015 12:28 PM

    Dearest YAB Tun,

PM Ah Jib Gor is going to drown UMNO/BN along with its crews and passengers in the deep sea because in his opinion there is no turning back (even though ‘semua peralatan penting sampan/kapal sudah musnah & punah-ranah’). What a stupid (bangang?) principle.

I will not forgive him if UMNO/BN is defeated during PRU-14. He will be remembered as a traitor to ‘Bangsa, Agama & Negara’.

Did 1MDB borrow any money from CIMB? Just wondering…

    Thanks Tun.

*** May Allah SWT bless Tun and family ***

    Salam Tun,

DSN, “Believe me, when the truth shines out and reveals itself, all insults and imputation will disappear.” – ‘The Malaysian Insider’

    1. Really? When (DSN’s version of) the truth would shines out and reveals itself? Moreover, how (DSN’s version of) the truth would shines and reveals itself?

    2. ‎Another thing, why did not DSN quote the struggle of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to draw parallel in his fight (plight?), “no matter how high the odds were stacked against him?” instead of those other names like Greek philosophers, Muslim scholar Imam Ghazali, Mahatma Gandhi, John F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King? Did not the Prophet fight for his Ummah (‘the People’) just as DSN ‘is fighting for his People?’

    3. Drawing parallels to Greek philosophers, Muslim scholar Imam Ghazali, Mahatma Gandhi, John F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King is not clever, as none of those fought for ‘his people as DSN is doing!’

    Sekian, Tun, terima kaseh. Wassalam.

    Salam Tun,

Allow me to share another news that I’ve read recently and I believe Tun brought this matter up before. This is regarding starting nuclear power plant in Malaysia and if my memory still serve me well, Tun objected to this idea. I fully agree with Tun’s stand on this. However, it looks like our government thinks otherwise. This becomes a problem when you have a non-competent captain. The ship is on auto-cruise. The captain on the ship will just say “Good Idea..!” when someone tells him something. He is not willing to spend good long enough time on his own to find out the details; he is not smart enough to evaluate thing objectively; He depends so much on the so called “expert”/”consultant” to tell him what to do! Or maybe, we should ask our first lady’s opinion.

Russians to bid for Malaysia’s nuclear power plant

When Tun have brought up all these strong points to object to this idea in the past, I thought that that would conclude it. It looks like these people will get things wrong, even though they were told the answers.. Brilliant!

These people just won’t learn from history. Maybe we should send them back to school to learn history as their main subject. The primary reason for studying history is to learn from the past success as well as avoid the past mistake that people made! The risks of nuclear power plan by far exceed the benefits that it brings. If we are so confident with it, let’s build one near Putrajaya. If you don’t want one near you, why do you think it’s a good idea to build one in other areas?

Have we not seen how difficult it is to contain the problem when things go wrong ? Even the Japanese is struggling (look at the Fukushima nuclear disaster!)
The handling of nuclear waste is another big issue. Read the second link.

‘High level’ of radiation detected in Tokyo park

Sometimes, some people just need to stop being arrogant / stubborn and learn! Make sure that we do not make the past mistakes that others have made and build on ideas where success have been seen. The only way to maximize these is to get the best of the cream to lead the pack.. Unfortunately, there is none at the moment.. Adoi……

  29. BabyHooligan Apr 29,2015 1:05 AM

    Dear Tun,
I have no doubt that the PM has to answer with details regarding 1MDB. We, the people, deserve to know as it will guide us as who to vote next. I personally don’t want a PM who is lack of accountability.
However, it would be great if you can share with us the plan on how do we get to the right PM to lead Malaysia? We don’t want to come to the situation of “Keluar mulut harimau, masuk mulut buaya.” You did mention, traditionally if the PM steps down, the DPM takes over. Well, I hope he’s a changed man now because he did create issues when he was a Johor MB.
I do agree with one of the commenters on one of your blogs, Malaysia cannot afford experiments at PM level. While all the ex-PM’s get the title “Tun” and rake in all the benefits it brings along, we , the people, are the ones who have to pay the expenses.

Please share with us the grand plan.

p/s: I do owe you a gratitude as your vision as a PM did bring Malaysia to where we are right now. I was trying to imagine where we are if you were not in the office – probably worse than some of our neighbors in South East Asia. You did set a very very high standard for your successors just to match.

The naive, friendly and hospitable New Straits Times yesterday carried the headline, ‘Dr M’s criticisms clearly going beyond the pale.’ It turned out the article was written by a professional wordsmith from Kirby, England. The intention of the article was clear which was to create a spectacle of a clash of personalities between different generations of political leaders. One of them is pictured as an ogre of the 20th Century and the other a Greek hero. The whole rigmarole was plucked like ths strings of an Aeolian harp in a plush London hotel at 4 p.m. in the afternoon. But the melodious sounds which were produced seemed to be directed towards one purpose which is the denigration of a great leader and statesman, our beloved Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. As this article had a personal bias, it becomes meaninigless. Because of the keeness to do down a great leader through hearsay and not based on facts, the article becomes farcical and frivolous. It would have been far better if the professional wordsmith put his finger on the present political conundrum as a clash between two diametrically opposed Political Systems e.g. the reliable and tested Free Malaysian Style Demcracy with Open Capitalistic Characteristics as engendered through consensus by our Rakyat since Merdeka in 1957 against the late self-serving Ruler (1959-2015) or Dictator Godless Ultra Communistic Political and Social System imposed on the citizens by the Apparatchiks aka Meritocrats bolstered by the CPF-HDB-Quit Rent & Assessment-Income Tax-GST-COE-Traffic Taxes-Free subsidised Water from Malaysia-Water Conservation Tax-Public Utilities-the Civil Service-the foreign manned Military-the Judiciary. This latter Political System is in keeping with what the ancient sages admonished, ‘ You must have harmony at home before you can fight and win in the street.’ We must not forget the Ruler (1959-2015) had a brilliant legal mind.
The Ruler (1959-2015) created his very own Political System to serve his personal needs to retain power for an indefinite period after a study of the different political philosophies around the World. This Political System is also known as the Singapore Model or authoritarian capitalism or benign dictatorship (no such thing) or rich Cuba without the havanas but the bananas.
Both Russia and China adopted this Political System so that they could climb down the gresay Communistic pole of no return. In September 2013, Russia awarded an academic medal to the Ruler (1959-2015) together with 4 other academics. In 1992, Deng Xiao Peng commented, ‘ They administer well. But we will do better than them.’
In other words, the Godless Ultra Communistic Political and Social System is a half-way house in World Politics e.g. 50% Capitalist and 50% Communistic. In the case of the tiny Republic, this Political System is supported and tolerated by the Western Powers, journalists, academics etc. at the present time. It is interesting to note that our practising politicians are unaware of these two distinctive Political Systems one of which is Godless. They think it is the same abang adek politics across the Causeway.
The clash of the two diametrically opposed Political Systems arose post-2004 when the hungary PAP cadres swarmed into the wide opened doors of our Khazanah looking for ‘low hanging fruits’. They were so welcomed that our national institutions were exposed as well. The naive friendly and hospitable UMNO owned New Straits Times engaged one of these types to sit as its Chief together with a lush Sime Darby contract on his lap to make him feel comfortable in the hot and humid Ulus ! From the sublime to the ridiculous !
The present day Policy of Money Money Money followed. This gave rise to the dislocation of the seamless nexus between our iconic institutions which similarly affected our human resources in the form of the leaders and their employees. Now, we have an explosive mix which any ambitious foreigner who wanted to do down our beloved Malaysia would have wished for.
In the Ruler’s fiefdom, the GLCs were created and sustained to fill a particular void which is UNIQUE to this tiny Republic of Singapore. When the Ruler (1959-2015) was ejected from the Federation in 1965, Singapore had no entrepreneurial activity because the traders were not suitable to become industrialists and financiers. Hence, the GLCs filled the void. And he could micro-managed every cent in the whole Singapore show in a tiny place using his specially crafted Political System.
In the case of our beloved Malaysia, we have a Democratic System which involves many digits working in consensus with checks and balances. The insertion of money money money entities into this Democratic Systems will create havoc as it is shown to be the case so far. Our Political System will self-destruct because we have no Dictator to oppress us as it is in Singapore. In other words, we all make noise as we Malaysians say. Hence, the political conundrum. And a large part of our belief in the great Dictator stemmed from the efficient methods of brainwashing advised by the best Government Agents in the World. The result is most Malaysians especially the Chinese have become cuckoo. Thanks to the finest brainwashing methods doled out by the Ministry of Information, Singapore.
The envy, the unhappiness and the unlimited negative emotions have come about because no country with a Democratic System in the World manages POWER and MONEY together except the Communists ! But these Western countries were forced iinto gigantic bail-outs after the Crash of October 2008.
A Democratic Government is expected to RULE WITH POWER but it is not expected to take part in BUSINESS as well. A holistic Democratic System is definitely not involved with MONEY BUSINESS.
This is what the World perceive of what our beloved Malaysia is marching headlong into – 50% Captialistic and 50% Communistic. It does not work because no other country in the World except the failed State of Singapore adopts such an absurd Political System whereby a country’s sole political power controls and does business as well. This is not DEMOCRACY. IT IS COMMUNISM WHICH FAILED IN 1989 !
For the reasons mentioned above which are based on facts, it is better that we return to NORMALCY because we seemed to be adopting the self-centred Ruler’s or Dictator’s (1959-2015) Godless Ultra Communistic Political and Social System imposed on the citizens by Apparatchiks aka Meritocrats without much study . He tailored fit the Political System for himself only. Smart ! This Political System has already gone toxic with 50% of its citizens demanding the return of their CPF contributions. Under our Democratic System, at least 70% would have done so.
Finally, it is not a clash of personalities or a clash between the old and the young. Far from it. IT IS A LIFE AND DEATH CLASH OF TWO DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED POLITICAL SYSTEMS – ONE DEMOCRATIC AND THE OTHER GODLESS ULTRA COMMUNISTIC !
Without proper checks and balances unlike the micro-mangement by the Ruler (1959-2015), we will always have financial Titanics to keep us on our toes !

    Assalamualaikum Tun.

Tak pernah lagi saya baca lawak dalam media sosial sampai keluar air mata kecuali lawak yang dibuat tukang tukang komen Ahmad Maslan pasal Tun tak faham lagi GST

Kata tukang komen ‘Ahmad Maslan berkata beliau adalah antara 3 orang terbodoh tau, jangan cuba lawan’….hahaha klako klako

Kata juga tukang komen, dia nak starligt dahi Ahmad Maslan kalau jumpa beliau.

    Orang kata GST menyusahkan rakyat.

Tapi dengan adanya GST rezeki saya makin bertambah. Punca pendapatan meningkat hampir 80%….setakat nak bayar GST singgit dua tu apa la sangat.

Klako klako…klako giler sampai menitis air mata…serius klako.

    Terima kasih Tun.

    Salam Tun Mahathir,

Sekian.

Ah sudah…malu lah weh, dah pulak terpaksa berpura pura. Kena buat muka serius kot, sebab Tun yang bercakap ni…

Sorry ar Tun, first time muka masuk kamera live.

    Dear Tun Dr Mahathir,

Semoga Tun sehat, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah juga.

It’s been difficult to access your weblog these past week, like there’s a crash and the page just froze. I hope you and the admin will stay alert of any bad intent of people who wish to hack this site so your message will not reach us.

Tun, even though many of us were unable to attend Tmn Melawati on 25/04/15 (we’re oceans apart) but we follow you all the way, till all truth are unveiled. I just worry about your safety and Tun Siti Hasmah’s as well as your family’s and I hope this will not be taken lightly.

Sometimes I do feel afraid to write post on your blog. I am a nobody but I just feel afraid for my family. So much fear that I can’t help thinking about North Korea…hahaha :)) By the way Tun have you watched the movie The Interview (Seth Rogen, James Franco)? American Jewish they may be but.. you’ll have a good laugh. Anyway most American or British film are jewish including those aired on our tvs :((

Tun, we look forward to hearing from you again. In the mean time do take good care and stay strong. Like we stay strong and firm with you. Our prayers with you Tun Dr Mahathir.

Salam YAB & Yg diKasihi Tun,

    Terima kasih Tun.

*** Semoga Allah S.W.T. sentiasa melindungi Tun sekeluarga. ***

    YABhg. Tun Dr.,

I was present at the BICARA NEGARAWAN event held on the morning of 25/4/2014 at K-Klub, Taman Melawati, Hulu Kelang, Selangor.

The event was hosted by Gabungan NGO Prihatin with your goodself scheduled as the being as the honoured guest and speaker on topic touching current issues. As a sub-theme for the event, the host had also portrayed the feelings of the masses towards Tun Dr. Mahathir, by splashing the bold banner for the occasion, i.e.-

    “….You Are Not Alone…”

In this regard, kindly allow me to provide my account and recollection of the event.

With a couple of colleagues, I left early in the morning and arrived at the K-Klub premise just after 8:00am, as early birds in effort to park our vehicle within the club’s compound to avoid for any mad rush and scramble of the limited parking space available, in our anticipation of a large turn-out of attendees for the event.

We had our breakfast readily provided by the host and while waiting for the event which was scheduled to start at 9:30 am. Sure enough by 9:10 am the crowd of attendees had already thronged the hall which had a maximum capacity of about 7oo to 800 for the theatre type arranged seats provided. However, by 9:30 am the attendees had almost burst the ‘seams’ of the hall which I reckon that more than 1,200 people had already crowded into the hall and literally there was no longer even any standing room made available. In fact, a few more hundred seats was provided outside the hall with a closed-circuit audio video screen for those who were unable to enter the hall.

By 10:10 am, You and Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah arrived and entered the hall welcomed by the loud cheers and roar of the overcrowded attendees. You were escorted to the main-sofa and flanked beside you on staged on your right was Prof. Dato’ Dr. Ridhuan Tee Abdullah, while on your left Dato’ Ibrahim Ali of Perkasa. Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah was however seated at the front-most row-seating facing you.

The master of ceremony kicked-off the event by asking all attendees to rise and sing the Negara Ku national anthem. This was followed by the doa rite performed by Uztaz Ismail Mina (founder of ABIM and long-time friend of Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim) to supplicate for guidance and blessing from Allah SWT.

Prior to the this, I did took notice of some notable attendees and dignitaries present. Surprisingly, there were many ex-UMNO ‘renegades’ present at the event such as – Tan Sri Muhammad Taib (Mike Tyson), Tamrin Tun Ghafar, Dato’ Zaid Ibrahim of Parti KITA and some others. Some UMNO leaders were also noticeable such as the past deputy cabinet ministers such as Dato’ Khalid (uban) Yunus, Dato’ Zainal Abidin Zain and also Perak ADUN member i.e. Dato’ Hamidah Othman.

The swarm of mass-media people and photographers from so many media organisation and outfit who had flocked the stage area was really unbearable. The main-stream media from RTM and Media-Prima (TV-3) were however not present. Nonetheless, those from the news agency of Bernama was seen to be present.

One of my colleague did mentioned to me that the presence of some plainclothes Police Special Branch officers at such an event was not uncommon, but he did also notice of a few military intelligence personnel loitering at the event at the time. In this regard, apparently Tun.., you are quite a ‘crowd’ puller..!

Anyway, the Master of Ceremony then invited Prof. Dr. Ridhuan Tee to make a brief speech to warm-up the event. Dr. Ridhuan Tee began his speech by comparing our current political scenario by recollecting the situation during the era of 4th Muslim Caliphate between Saiydina Ali (ra) and Mu’awiyah. However, by being a very devoted Muslim but of Chinese ethnicity he says that has been accused by certain quarters of being ‘more’ Malay than even the Malays. He ended his speech by cautioning the audiences to be very wary on the rise of those ‘Ultra Kiasu’ elements in Malaysia.

Despite being on stage, however Dato’ Ibrahim Ali was not invited to the podium to give a welcoming speech.

As for the main event, you were invited to take the podium and address the anxious crowd. You began your speech by recalling of your past experience as well as what our beloved nation had been through since before World-War 2 and after, up till to this day. You also recollected that you owed a debt to (arwah) Tun Abdul Razak for being instrumental to put where you were (as full Cabinet Minister) during the 1970’s and subsequently responsible for politically positioning you to become the Prime Minister. Thus in this regard, you said that you need to repay that debt to Tun Abdul Razak by supporting his son (Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib) to take the helm of the nation to become Prime Minister. You also mentioned that you had even insisted at Pak Lah (while he was PM at the time) to hand over the premiership to Najib because of the poor performance of Barisan Nasional during 2008 general elections.

However, you went on to touch on your disappointment at the performance of Dato’ Seri Najib after taking the helm of premiership of Malaysia in the year 2009 onwards. Then, you shifted into ‘high-gear’ and touched on this (above) forum’s topic (i.e. 1MDB) with content just about the same as the 29 issues you have raised as above. Despite the hall being so overcrowded and so stuffy (because the hall’s air-conditioner system could not overwhelm the presence of so many human body heat), nonetheless the crowd was so quiet and attentive that one could hear a pin drop on the floor while you were touching this issue.

You did not spare any punches and once in a while you did take a swipe at the lavishness and opulence displayed by the current first lady, which is so unbecoming for a wife of an elected leader and very much loathed by the rakyat.

Finally, you hammered away home by uttering that Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib must resign as the Prime Minister before the situation gets even worse for the people and the nation. The crowd then simply roared at this remark.

During the Q&A session, this did get a little bit out of hand because there were so many people scrambling for the microphone to ask you so many questions. Finally, the MC did managed to control the situation because most of what you had delivered in your speech had already been answered. Then a lady from the host organisation was invited to the podium to read a puisi composed by A. Kadir Jasin.., with the title – “Engkau Tidak Keseorangan”.

The event ended around noon while the MC played and sang the song – “My Way” as you and Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah left the hall.

To me the event was so worthwhile and very fulfilling. Clearly, the crowd of people and attendees were not ‘paid’ people to be present at the event, who had come from all over on their own free will and volition.., unlike the paid ‘rent-a-crowd’ of those so-called ‘I Love PM’ or the ‘IM4u’ crowd.

Thus.., the clear message to Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib has been delivered. Leave gracefully or else you’d might be driven out by the masses.., because obviously Tun Dr. Mahathir is NOT at all alone on the current issue facing the people and nation.

In fact.., even the younger brother (CIMB Chief) of Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib have somewhat hinted to all as per this URL below:-
(Adik Najib pula kongsi – ‘You are not alone’)

Thus clearly, support is coming on very strong as to what Tun Dr. Mahathir have initiated and voiced out.

Therefore.., Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib has to do deal with this matter and situation decisively. The only way that he can decide is to perform the Solat and Do’a Istikharah consistently and supplicate to Allah SWT earnestly.

Should he rather seek counsel from his own ‘Kitchen’ and his goons of lackeys and apple-polishers.., then all hell might break loose for him.., that may also be at the cost and detriment of the people and nation.

Surely.., Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib must consider that Tun Dr. Mahathir has the best of intention for the people and the nation.., and likewise Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib must put the interest of the people and the nation well above that of his own ‘Kitchen’ and his goons of lackeys.

In the words of the stand-up comedian i.e. Russell Peters – “… Be A Man..! ”

    Sekian…, Wassalam.

    Salam Tun,

First and foremost, nice job for the admin for changing the look and theme for this blog. It looks nicer! Just one small suggestion is to keep the visitor counters back on how many million views so far… It looks like this blog is getting “busier” than ever serving legitimate blog readers as well as lots of others paid “visitors”… Again, good job to the admin for keeping this up and overcoming the challenges faced by the magnitude of DDOS coming your way.. Well done! Again, there is a couple of things that I’d like to share my thoughts with Tun:

    1. Past mistake.
Pressuring our “beloved” PM to give way is the right thing to do. Before DSN was chosen/hand-picked by Tun, things already didn’t look good at that time by analyzing the issues already going round (not just personal issues surrounding the luxury lifestyle) but also other issues (mismanagement of fund surrounding the defense ministry that he was holding before that). If we think that personal lifestyle has nothing to do with who we picked, then it is totally wrong and it’s a recipe for disaster. I once remember a famous statesman mentioned that a character is formed after they reach the age of 30’s and the only way to increase the possibility of success and continue to prosper is to choose the right person to manage our country (referring to how to keep his country going forward). And, the right attributes are smart, talented, honest, persistent (never giving up). I completely agree with him (Tun and some of the blogger might not like/agree him but I think he is right.). And, the handling of personal life will tell you how he will perform given a job. And, the duty and responsibility of a PM is so important that we should reduce the possibility of failure and increase the possibility of picking a right candidate. Let’s analyze the two hand-picked successors:
First one: Honest but not smart, not talented & not persistent enough
Second one: persistent but not smart, not talented & not honest

    2. The chosen one.
But, is this the replacement that you have in mind? Have we not learnt from our past mistakes?

Muhyiddin gets guarded nod from Mahathir

Let’s look how he runs the Education Ministry. We are moving backwards! Enough said and let me predict that if he succeeds, there will be no progress for the next five years.

    3. Suggestion.
Let the most capable fight their way up the leadership and show that they are worth given the mandate to lead our country? Only when things go wrong; you can see the capable, talented, persistent, honest candidate rising up to the challenge. Have we seen any from this side? Possibly not today. If not, should we not look at the opposite side of the camp? The arrogant, talented Mr. Lee once said that he doesn’t care if it is the current political party that he setup wins but he is quite happy that there is a strong alternative setup and if they have more capable people, he is quite happy that they take over. Stern warning should be given that if there is no repentance, there will be a change.. No one is willing to take the risk. If no one is willing and have the guts to take this risk, how is it possible that he is capable of handling the other risk when he is a PM?

  62. amin tan Apr 26,2015 5:37 PM

    Dear Tun,
Alhamdulillah, I saw you in action in the 3 part video of Negarawan. You were as I said, as fit as a fiddle, as sharp as a razor and extremely intelligent and capable. You were humble, soft spoken, witty, knowledgeable and persuasive. Datuk Seri Najib is no match for you. You were his sifu and mentor.
However, please allow me to propose to you ,Tun as Ketua Umum of all Malaysians, can you please limit to only one item in the assault against Datuk Seri Najib. Unrelenting pursue of 1MDB. Let us drop all other issues. Your speech in the video has covered other issues. Datuk Seri Najib must have taken note.
I would also give Datuk Seri Najib the benefit of the doubt meaning presume his innocence until proven guilty. It is a matter of time the whole truth is known.

    amin tan

We the Malaysians, the Malays and the non-Malays from three ancient Civilizations have always stood proud and steadfast any other normal nation.. But under the present circumstances and in the face of recent events, some seemed to be consumed by the materiallistic Money, Money, Money policies of failed nations and have discarded our traditional values of what is right or wrong, good or bad, ethics, gratitude, propriety, compassion, spiritual vvalues, probity, standards, common sense, filial piety, integrity etc. We have seen what a Godless funeral proceeding looked like.

HAVE WE BECOME THE LAUGHING STOCK OF THE WORLD ? A Nation without a Conscience. I honestly cannot believe we are this bad if we return to Normalcy.

The world is being run on a Pyramid system, and we are but one stone in this pyramid.Everything comes designed to suit those at the pinnacle.
While everyone is dumbfounded by the debacle of the losses, which ultimately is a debt owed by the people of this land, this serves as an ideal opportunity to introduce paradigms designed by those that really run this nation.
Hence,GST was slipped in to placate the concerned minds that it provides an answer to resolve the behemoth financial issue that has been created.
This is order out of chaos,a political strategy of historical significance being adapted.
GST may have a nice sounding name in the aftermath of this financial crisis, but in reality it is a GLOBAL SERVICE TAX,where a good portion of the takings will be for those on the top rungs of the global pyramid.
This is part and parcel of the Globalization plan and they use their agent/agents to bring this to fruition.

MINE company tak jawap lagi…….Handling case hilang duit macam ini….perlu la kita belajar daripada movie icac hk…SAPU all dulu….by process.
and if you have nothing to hide… will allow people to sapu all….
yes, eventhough already identified whosoever to “investigate” into the book of account…but all activities is behind the sin….
hav they freeze the account? What cant they declare ending on hand….what cant they declare opening balance as of xx month?
declare now if its clean and there is nothing to “adjust” is this the professional way of Investigation or audit?
Everything must be freeze now….meaning no more incoming or outgoing or basically no more documentation to “prepare”
size is so big….takan takda accounting software? Takkan takda email? Tak kan auditor pun diam diam ….
Can appoint few more non local auditor to look into the case…..2 more ? 3 more? 10 more? I think as a residence …..the request is not too much and if they ignore with stupid reason…….meaning there is something wrong . So to maintain the trust and support from us….some PROFESSIONAL process of crystal clear transparency must be in place …..NOW! NOW NOW! No ignoring a fair request From us.

professional in investigation is to ensure all reports and activities, no matter how small, how big, who? Where etc etc…
… streamlining procedures and processes Is executed following the book of process. This is a normal process that everyone know.
I believe…only people without Other intention can and will follow it through……

We choosen u as manager……hope that you can perform…..same goes to your people under you…they also work for us… are not the boss. We are the boss. …we dont need to see how many people working under you that support u….you can increase their salary due to a reason….maybe living standard has increased ……but dont ask the boss to fork out more when the business still in red.

maybe this is a reason for all of us to choose again…..base on fact and result…..Think this is the only way For betterment of all.

I dont wish to live in a situation that anything is possible to dissappear just like that… Record of Authorities……pensil, paper toilet roll…..identity…..passport…..cctv… In drawer… commission my life….and so much more….if there is no tomorrow for me……i wish the god wil stop showing the power of his hand and make peace in our working place. Thankyou

My dream was so damm real that i deliver the message infront million of colleges…..damm scaryyyy

    Dearest YAB Tun,

It is so difficult to access Tun’s blog and even more difficult to log in.

I believe it has got something to do with the ‘bots’ @ ‘robots’ (autonomous programs/systems that can be used for malicious intentions – can also launch automated attacks on computers/networks).

May be there are individuals out there who do not want the ‘rakyat’ to know the truth about 1MDB, etc.

Whatever it is, ‘berani kerana benar, takut kerana salah’.

PM Ah Jib Gor must face the rakyat, and explain/clarify all controversial issues on 1MDB.

    Thanks Tun.

*** May Allah SWT bless Tun and family ***

    Dearest YAB Tun,

Excellent write-up! Complete with facts, figures and calculations (I wonder if the PM of Malaysia @ Finance Minister @ 1MDB Advisor understands all these simple calculations…)

I believe Tun has much more knowledge about 1MDB than the PM/Advisor himself. This is so SHAMEFUL. It clearly shows that PM Ah Jib Gor is truly ‘clueless’ about 1MDB. I don’t think he is able to provide proper/accurate & convincing answers to Tun’s questions (even though Tun already answered most of Tun’s own questions – I bet he is learning from Tun about 1MDB).

I advise PM Ah Jib Gor to STEP DOWN. It is going to be very disgraceful for him if the ‘rakyat’ kicks him out during PRU-14 (para pembodek/jemuan PM mahu menyalahkan Tun M jika BN/UMNO tumbang pada PRU-14; salahkan diri sendiri yang ‘bingung’ dan ‘bang*ng’ & tidak mahu menerima teguran/nasihat).

    Thanks Tun.

*** May Allah SWT bless Tun and family ***

Kami bukan inginkan Najib letak jawatan TETAPI
Najib perlu menjelaskan kerana kami lihat banyak yg merosot dari meningkat

Adakah Pertanyaan kami terlebih batas ?
Jika benar kerana Kebenaran Kami menyokong Najib
Jika tidak benar Faham sajalah Najib

1.Si penjahahanam Negara sudah di penjarakan
2.Pembangkang masih Bermaharajalela membuat Andaian sana sini yg bakal
mengelirukan & membahaykan Raykat untuk Agenda mereka
    Keamanan Negara akan Tergugat
    3. Sekarang Video Cam sudah sengaja dijadi senjata demi menjatuhkan image Polis
Polis mesti bertindak tegas pada mereka yg sengaja mencari kesalahan Polis bagi tujuan Pembangkang

Lihat saja di Youtube Sudah Nyata mereka sengaja mencari Kesalahan Polis
untuk menjatuhkan image Kerajaan di mata Dunia

    4. Setiap Badan Kerajaan perlu Active mengendalikan undang undang

Najib , you also my Friend
    But you must realize this
Its better to be Stupid than to rely own Foreign Advise that is more Hazardous than our wrong doing

    Salam Tun,

    1. This 1MDB issue is not rocket science!

    2. What is worst, there are three other powerful agencies in JAC, PDRM and MACC that could initiate investigations towards those leaks or stories, yet they are stalling. Why? Moreover, various parties too have made multiple police reports on 1MDB, yet nothing had happened to date. Why? This ignorance silence is deafening, and it is getting on the Rakyat’s nerves, already!

    3. ‘Missing voices’ from the Bar Council, Bersih, NGOs, and those other newspapers besides TMI, are baffling too. Clearly, 1MDB is their ‘litmus test.’ This is going to test them on whether they are just loud mouthpieces in championing their personal agendas, or they are ‘the People’s Champion’, truly! Surely, this 1MDB issue is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH BIGGER than Anwar Ibrahim is, ‘Allah’ and ‘Cross’ issues are! Why the arrogance silence?!

    4. Nevertheless, if DSN feels ‘he is not lonely and the world is with him’ (something to that effect), he should initiate a motion of confidence against himself in the next Parliament sitting. If he could take three oaths, supposedly, in the name of Allah SWT, to proof that he is innocent against ‘that Mongolian woman’, I do not see any reasons why he should not initiate that motion before his peers, who are mere mortals, after all.

    5. Each one of us has a duty to demand for the truth from the Government on this 1MDB issue, as it involves our future generations and us.

    6. Stand up Malaysians, and be counted. Do not be fence sitters and by-standers, merely! As the Abraham Lincoln said it, “the Government of the people, by the people, for the people, and it shall not perish from the earth.”

    Sekian, Tun, terima kaseh. Wassalam.

Kalau Tanya tak Jawab Di Lempang saja ,Tun
    Najib wajib Jawab

Seperti President Marcos dengan Queen of Sepatu , Imelda Marcus

Tiba tiba sekarang saya dengar Malaysia ada First Lady
Nak tengok juga First Lady yg macam mana , Lady Gaga kena lah
Apakah sebenar sumbangan Beliau terhadap Negara

Najib has not earned the people Respect
Its Not a Good Indications for Malaysia for Najib
    Najib has to be Revamp

    Dear Sir,

There is no doubt the Prime Minister must go

But he got solid and undivided support from every single rakyats and the Royal Palace also

He also has a solid support from the world super power

He is untouchable and his future is so bright for another 20 years or so

The song that played each days was everyone is blessing this lost, no issue at all

Personally I do not see any reasons the Prime Minister will voluntary step down from the post

They say you are history now is the new era, Najib era

Politician make unpopular decision to be popular

Let see if every single eligible voters truly “usung” him

I strongly opposed the idea to be Americanized

These people are opportunist, they rules and divide, they suck anything from you

Our defence are too depending to their technology, we also lost billions to purchase and upgrading the system and yet they keep on controlling us, forever we must kow tow and be a slave for them

One part they do not supply the jet cannot fly

Why don’t we build our own, MALAY BOLEH

It is not a rocket science to build own frigate with stealth technology, aircraft carrier, anti satellite missile, fighter jet etc…

Sorry incomplete sentence in the following paragraph 10 above:

“What does not bode well for government in Malaysia (the current government) is that everytime in recent history when Goldman Sachs was involved in similar schemes (Libya, Europe’s PIIG countries) and the US’s own GFC.”

    It should read as follows:

What does not bode well for government in Malaysia (the current government) is that everytime in recent history when Goldman Sachs was involved in similar schemes (Libya, Europe’s PIIG countries) and the US’s own GFC, those borrower governments collapsed with terrible consequences for the individual leaders and the nations involved.

  91. grkumar Apr 24,2015 5:18 AM

Whichever way one looks at the 1MDB controversy there is on thing that stands out which is not speculation or comparative analysis. It is a constitutional aberration. It is a breach of parliamentary sovereignty. It is a betrayal of the open scrutiny process and muzzling of the process of debate and of removing accountability from process of accountable government.

There is no question that outsourcing parliaments authority requires full debate, concurrence by a majority (not a simple majority) but by both sides of the house and full understanding of the consequences and purpose for which parliaments authority is being outsourced.

The US outsourced the obligations and the duties and functions of its army by creating blackwater, a private army to fight and rule Irak. The reason being that its invasion of Irak and the atrocities of its armed forces was unconstitutional, illegal at international and domestic law both in Irak and the US. As well it meant that its soldiers returning from Irak would be subject to domestic law where the anti war movement had reached such proportions they would split the nation again like it occurred during the Viet Nam war era. A private army of contractors (instead of the word soldiers) would be subject to private laws and to their individual actions thereby absolving the US government and its army of breaches of the same laws. Same sin different name.

In the case of 1MDB, it does not appear to be the case that parliament was fully conversant with the scheme and that not all of the information of the deal was disclosed to them. The losses made by the 1MDB fund were losses. Government’s are not infallible. They do make mistakes. But the question that remains outstanding is about the nature of these mistakes.

It appears from Tun’s description that there was a sovereign bail out of private enterprise using 1MDB to purchase at a loss to government, at an enormous profit to private enterprise certain assets. If this were the case, there is clear criminality involved. This is compounded by the fact there was no disclosure as required, no consultation with parliament and no accountability for the scheme.

If it is true then the recipients of the money from these sales are equally accountable and the government must and can under its own powers compel the return of the monies paid to the owners of each of these enterprises and compel the payment of penalties an interest as well. It must be done.

Even Ferdinand Marcos was not as blatant as this if everything said about 1MDB is correct. The Suhartos came close to what 1MDB and its architects are alleged to have done. Nothing about 1MDB according to the allegations appear to have been above board or legally sanctionable.

Outrageous as it is, the payment of such a large sum of money to Goldman Sachs for the bond raising is evident of two things. First that Malaysia’s sovereign rating is very low. It certainly is not a AAA rating. It appears closer to junk status from the commissions charged.

Second, it points to a quick arrangement which means it was fast track approved (possibly by someone with the usual Wharton credentials) and an insider to have been able to get Goldman to tie up a sovereign borrower so quickly and easily even though its credit rating was low.

What does not bode well for government in Malaysia (the current government) is that everytime in recent history when Goldman Sachs was involved in similar schemes (Libya, Europe’s PIIG countries) and the US’s own GFC.

Henry Paulson former CEO of Goldman was quite good at it. He managed to get Congress to bail out banks favourable to his old Alma Mater Goldman Sachs to the tune of $700 billion immediately after the Global Financial Crisis (in 2007-8).

Today Greece, Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Spain all reel from the effects of such lending and bond raisings engineered by Goldmans using several other corporate and banking vehicles in Europe at the time.

Europe now understands that their attempts at privatising government to the extent George Soros pushed it there is a dangerous ploy. Where street demonstrations like Ambigas Bersih funded by these bankers fail as it did in Malaysia, they use the mechanism of corrupted parliamentarians and bankers to achieve the same results by enslaving the nations democratic parliamentary process to be subjected to their policies. It has to be undone and undone now.

Lim Kit Siang and the opposition cannot claim any credit for anything in this regard, such as discovering the flaws in 1MDB or its legal significance for the nation. This is because they did not understand what was going on. They simply made noises about it but could not finger the vice. In fact they are a part of the problem having backed Anwar Ibrahim who was after all the originator of the US banking interference in Malaysia’s sovereignty. And the opposition backed him.

    Assalamualaikum Tun.

Cepat sangat Tun kata Najib tak layak jadi Perdana Menteri kerana lambat menjawab tuduhan 1MDB.

KPI nya?
    3) Adakah SPRM 100% bebas dari pengaruh jawatan tertinggi negara? Adakah benar SPRM 100% dikawal selia dibawah majlis raja raja?
    6) Suruhanjaya diraja perlu diwujudkan?
