TOTAL VISITORS FROM 2008:

THE MALAY DIGNITY CONGRESS 53

  1. I attended the Congress on Malay dignity – (maruah) because I am a Malay.

  1. It is common in this multiracial country for the citizens to retain their identification with their countries of origin even after being in Malaysia and holding its citizenship for three generations. They do not want to lose their racial identities.

  1. They manifest this ethnic link through their language, culture, schools and ethnic organisations. They often hold meetings confined to their ethnic group. Sometimes I would be invited to open these meetings and asked to give keynote speeches.

  1. In multiracial Malaysia, ethnicity is recognised as legitimate and proper. Other multiracial countries see non-indigenous people identifying themselves with the indigenous citizens almost completely. They adopt the language and culture of the indigenous people and break their link with their countries of origin. They even change their names.

  1. It is a measure of the tolerance of the indigenous people in Malaysia that gatherings which are confined to the different ethnic groups are accepted as normal.

  1. I am therefore very surprised when I was advised not to attend this Malay Congress to discuss their dignity. Obviously they are concerned over their possible loss of dignity, whatever that might mean. As usual there were extreme views but on the whole they were balanced.

  1. It cannot be that while other ethnic groups can have their gatherings to discuss their affairs, the Malays cannot, that their gathering is racist.

  1. And now there is even a demand that the Malay initiator of the gathering should be sacked for attending.

  1. When the former colonies of the European nations gained independence, many discriminated against the non-Indigenous people. Some had to leave the country. Some were violently attacked.

  1. Not so in this country. The non-indigenous people were accepted as citizens. In fact, 1 million of the non-indigenous people were given citizenship even though they were not qualified.

  1. It hurts me to think in their own country the indigenous people are not supposed to have their own gatherings without being accused of being racist.

  1. And now of course I will be labelled a racist for writing this.

Fifty years for abolishing the remaining vernacular schools is too long for the country to wait. It must be done a lot sooner, say within the next ten years. After all, it only took between 1968 to 1975 for the complete conversion of English-medium primary schools to National Malay-medium schools.

Similarly, once a new language is chosen for future primary schools, then the Chinese schools’ Primaries one to three can be converted once necessary logistics are available. Then five to eight years after that, the remaining Primaries four to six will be converted to the new medium of instruction. Secondary schools can be converted in ten years too, just as the conversion to Malay-medium in the secondary schools was completed in the period 1973 to 1982, and at tertiary level in just three years from 1980 to 1983.

Whether it was good or bad that the Education Ministry then chose Malay as the medium of instruction is not the point, but the conversion was made, albeit leaving the Chinese vernacular schools outside the scope. Political interference was definitely the cause, which should be the case if national unity is paramount. And national unity has never become more critical, today.

The government is more than capable to assist in the complete conversion of all remaining vernacular schools in the country. It is drastic, but don’t worry. Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore have all done it.

Where there is will, there is always a way.

Whatever you please to do, sibotak, since there is no secret in politics too. To award pingat jasa, cover up, extend, downsize, upscale, lompat, make noise, change hands, and etc., i leave it for the political parties of the divide to do their parts since malaysian population is more educated, more demanding, more financially independent and more exposed to world news. to cheat them is not as easy as their parents and nenek moyang era. Pendek kata, whichever coalition gets the majority votes, they will decide who is their perdana menteri.

For the Hainanese Hock Beng Teoh 456.

You are so crazy to accuse me of having hatred in my heart, you must be the ultimate Hainanese Idiot in this World.

Your years of comments against the Islam religion, your open insulting and abusive remarks against your fellow compatriots, the courteous and hospitable Malays confirmed you are here in this Blog to revenge for your fellow Hainanese Teoh Hock Beng. Period. And your attacks on me is JUST THAT YOU CANNOT BEAR THE FACT THAT A MENTALLY NORMAL CHINESE IN THIS BLOG. Idiot.

For those who do not understand the Hainanese, these Hainanese are so ashamed of using their own history and the Hainanese language to express their surnames and names that they ALL appear in our beloved Malaysia having the names and surnames of other clans !

For example, a Hainanese maybe called BO BO DO DO in the Hainanese language, but would change it to the Hokkien, Cantonese, Teochew or Hakka interpretation of his/her name like Tan, Chan, Tan or Chen. The Malaysian Hainanese in Malaysia are so ashamed of their past and forebears that I ONLY MET ONE HAINANESE WHO ADMITTED OPENLY SHE WAS A HAINANESE. I respected her for this. Strange, clan.

The biggest corporate capers were created by the Hainanese in both Malaysia and Singapore. They even made their own clansmen lose huge amounts of money through their crazy capers. Hence, you find many of them in Malaysian Politics TALKING GOBBLEDYGOOK (Anericanese for ” talking c..k).

Another haven for the Hainanese on both sides of the Causeway is those new creations since the mid-1970s – THE IAX FREE RM 2 INCORPORATED PLACES OF WORSHIP. Where there is crooked money to be made, there will be the crooks.

For those curious to know HOW A HAINANESE PERFORMS. GO TO THE ON-GOING TRIAL IN WHICH ONE OF THEM CLAIMED THAT HE COULD GET AWAY WITH OVER 1,300 ILLEGAL SHARE-RIGGINGS IN SINGAPORE ! He is on his way to jail for life in Changi.

Malaysia Boleh Tun as always. No problem.

    Tun,

Today, there is a headline concerning the doyen of Malaysian Journalism and Adviser to the Prime Minister Datuk A. Kadir Jasin who commented correctly that the FELDA Group was abused by investing at high astronomical prices through the use of the FELDA settlers hard-earned money.

It is alleged the buddy of the Singaporean Puppet Corrupt and Uncaring BN Leader 2004-2018 sold shares to the FELDA Group at over 344% of the market price of a non-blue chip Indonesian share, amongst other personal deals involving the same buddy with no Government to Government Guarantee.

THIS IS OUTRIGHT FINANCING OF A NOBODY BY THE 350,000 POOR FELDA FAMILIES TO THE EXTENT OF 344% BASED ON A PIECE OF PAPER SHARE SIGNED BY THE BUDDY IN EXCHANGE FOR THE REAL MONEY SIGNED BY THE GABENOR OF BANK NEGARA MALAYSIA. THIS IS FRAUD.

THIS FRAUD TRANSCENDS OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILTY BY PERSONAL VESTED INTERESTS. It is not done anywhere in the World unless it is cuckoo land.

It is alleged that this buddy borrowed large amounts of money from Malaysian financial institutions to finance his Malaysian assets.

What typet of Minister of Finance did Malaysia have at the material time when foreigners of no standing could borrow Malaysian money and squeezed out the Malaysian citizens in their quest for local finance to support Malaysian business ? Stupid.

Further, the FELDA GROUP at the beginning of the listing of one of its assets had RM 6 Billion cash. But 3 years later, the FELDA GROUP had liabilities of RM 14 Billion. This was not only daylight robbery but financial rape and vandalism in a plantation group which EFFECTIVELY KILLED THE FELDA PLANTATIONS TOTALLY. For over 100 years, this form of theft of money in plantations had always led to total bankruptcy which the FELDA GROUP is now facing. Hence, the Government is forced to inject into the FELDA GROUP RM 6 Billion cash. Sad to say, much more will be required.

I support ALL INITIATIVES TO CATCH THESE CARPET-BAGGER CROOKS EVEN IF IT TAKES 100 YEARS.

Catch the crooks. Charge them in Court. 10 strokes of the rotan.

Single stream education system, the english language stream?

    Total ban of plastic?

Like twinpeaks said, Malaysia is a free country, and lawless too?

When they are too obsess with tdm, they too will make the same mistake just like pl and dsn for being politically right without thinking of boleh atau tidak boleh.

The choice is not with malaysians, the choice is with the coalition of the divides.

Israel jewish and palestinine moslem are not the issues since they have cold wars for many centuries, so to cease fire or unite, it is up to their people and political masters to decide.

The jihad newcomers who named themselves as isis, daesh and al queda terrorists are the main culprits that killed their own people and foreigners who dont play by their rule of law just to prove they are the jihadists for moslem population in the middle-east asia region.

I am alright with tdm wit his official diplomacy works with the moslem countries at the border of russia but can the local political parties accept, that is a different story.

To be or not to be, that is not the question.

Able or not, we will know as we move along.

May i ask mubarakchan, will you be alright for ph to change your name to mubarak bin chan without your permission?

ADDENDUM TO MY COMMENTS OF THE MALAYSIAN CHINESE AND THE MALAY DIGNITY CONGRESS.

After delving into the anatomy of a Malaysian Chinese to find out who is a real Chinese, I found that the Malaysian Chinese because of their present loss of real Chinese characteristics, should be humble, kind, considerate, a willingness to help others and compassionate instead of being arrogant, have a superiority complex, discourteous, selfish, brash and money-minded. If all the Malaysian Chinese appreciate the uniqueness of our beloved Malaysia the land of their forefathers instead of spurning friend and foe, would have contributed much to the UNITY of our diverse Nation.

Malaysia Boleh Tun as always. No problem.

As our beloved Tun has always said it is the mind-set and nothing more.

  20. freedom Oct 27,2019 10:17 PM

    Salam Tun
It is my hope that you will be fair with comments and allow it to be posted. Many of my past dissenting views has not been published to the point that I see no value of commenting. As a Malay, I am greatly offended by your choice of words. Allow me to address your points on a point to point basis

    2. You are right, it is human nature that immigrants try to retain their identities when they move to a new country. It is the same with the Malays in cocos island Australia, Sri Lankan Malay and south African Malays. These people have emigrated for more than 100 years and they still maintain their identities. Many Malays also moved to Australia and Great Britain but they remain steadfast to their Malay identity. They did not become Aussies or Brits. Therefore what you pointed is a norm among all ethnic groups including Malays

    3. Malays abroad also did the same thing. They manifest this ethnic link through their language, culture, schools and ethnic organizations. I had the opportunity of meeting Malays in the Cocos, Christmas Island, and Sri Lanka. It is an acceptable practice. No one questions their right to conduct their congregation in Malay.

    4. Most 2nd and 3rd generations non-Malays adopt the language and some culture of the indigenous people and most have no ties to the people in their country of origin break their link with their countries of origin. Many would change their names like in Indonesia but in Malaysia, the laws of JPN prevent Chinese from using the name of Mohd Lim or Abdul Kulasingam. You can expect people to change when you have laws that prevent them to change. Only in Malaysia, Malay names are strictly meant for Muslims. Don’t blame others when the government of the day are in a position to make a change, chose not to.

    5. The issue is not the gathering perse but the conduct of the gathering with implied racism. The choice of words used by many in Congress is clearly racist.

    8. You talked about the sacking of the organizers. Why don’t you ask you Parti Pribumi Treasurer Dato Salleh and your people in the PMO for pressuring a Public Listed Company to remove me from the board when I wrote a letter to the editor questioning some of the government actions. Ask yourself. Is your party open for criticism? Your people go to the extent of destroying people’s careers just because they have dissenting views. If you are genuinely concern, I challenge you with a 4 eye meeting with me and I will give you all the details and see what action you will take against your people

    10. It upsets me when you keep on raising the issue of granting of citizenship at the time of independence. That was the condition set by the British. If you had not agreed to it then you and your friend should put a challenge to it. The fact that Tunku sees the wisdom and value of agreeing to the terms set by the British. This country is in a far better position because of this. The chinese, indians and others defended this country against so many wars. The chinese and indians contributed to the economic development to this country. They paid taxes. It pains me to see that you keep on harping on an obsolete point when the present 2nd and 3rd generations speak very good malay, blend it in many ways. Some of them put a Malay to a shame? The Kelantanese and people in Terengganu many cannot speak proper BM. They are stuck with their dialects. Worse still the urban Malays have a poor grasp of their mother tongue. Stop harping on old useless point. Move forward to develop Malaysia as a country

Reality is the politicians like you are dividing the country along racial and religious lines for the purpose of keeping power. You are now doing it because you refusal to step down and want to hold on to power. You are having problems of keeping your word.

I cried in joy when you became PM again. I was hoping that a new model will develop. Today I cried again because i see your old habits. Some things never change

Clearly whatever you are doing of late is to ensure someone else other than Anwar to succeed you even to the point that you refuse to admit AA sexual orientation. Give it Tun, you have overstayed your welcome. Leave while we can still give you a rousing farewell

  21. SSLEE Oct 27,2019 9:51 PM

    Dear PM Tun Dr Mahathir,
Please allow me to cut and paste Tun’s book Malay Dilemma new preface:

I HAVE BEEN ASKED many times by friends and ‘foes’ that I revisit The Malay Dilemma. All seem convinced that things are different now and I should change my mind on some of the things I wrote. Accordingly, I reread the book and I must admit that the people who asked me to revisit are quite right. Things have changed, and in certain cases what I postulated when writing in 1971 are no longer valid today.

I had thought that hereditary factors, which I believed contributed to the poor performance of the Malays, would be difficult to overcome. However, the rapid urbanization of the Malays has changed their life-style so that they no longer in-breed or insist that the mentally or physically unfit be married and reproduce. Hereditary factors have now become less relevant.

I had blamed poor education and poor health. But today’s Malays are better educated and more healthy. They should really be doing better. Indeed they are doing much better. We see more Malays with PhDs and as professionals. Some of the most highly regarded physicians and surgeons are Malays as are architects, engineers and scientists. Education and health are no longer negatively affecting the Malays.

However, a new phenomenon has emerged. Sixty to seventy per cent of university students are girls. We do not know where the boys have gone to. Already we are seeing social problems as the higher qualified (and richer) women find difficulty in finding suitable spouses. Late marriages are now more common and may have some deleterious effects on the offspring.

I had been very critical of Chinese business practices, which seem to keep the Malays out. At the time of writing the book, the Chinese had not yet taken to the public limited companies. Their businesses were almost all family owned. But today most of the big Chinese businesses are listed on the stock exchange. Although the Ali Baba arrangement is still found, qualified Malays are now employed by largely Chinese-owned companies and the Sino-Malay partnerships are more real. The result is that we find more Malay and Sarawak/Sabah executives and entrepreneurs in the business world. I need to rethink about Chinese business practices and their effect on the Malays.

As I said earlier, hereditary factors no longer hamper the development of the Malays. But what has become more evident and more influential is the role of culture and value system.

I cannot deal with this subject in this second introduction. It is too big a subject and requires very careful analysis of cause and effect if it is not going to be rejected and condemned. But there can be no doubt that the biggest single factor which has prevented the achievement of the New Economic Policy’s objectives to reduce the disparities between the Malays and the other races is the system of values of the Malays and their actual practices.

I hope to be able to revise The Malay Dilemma at some stage in the future. My analysis and views were based on observations in the 60s. Since then the country has made great strides. Although the Malays have not been able to keep up, there can be no doubt that they have made noticeable progress. I need to identify the reasons why they have not benefited as much as they should from the New Economic Policy and the measures taken by the governments of Malaysia. And perhaps I may be able to suggest remedies.

    TUN DR. MAHATHIR BIN MOHAMAD
    July 2008

Quote, “As I said earlier, hereditary factors no longer hamper the development of the Malays. But what has become more evident and more influential is the role of culture and value system. Unquote”

Below are some of the working culture and shared values system that make Petronas success story well beyond Malaysia’s shores but one with global footprints
    https://www.thestar.com.my/business/2019/10/23/work-culture-behind-petronas039-success-story
Petronas is a success story well beyond Malaysia’s shores but one with global footprints.
Wan Zulkiflee said in addressing the good working culture questions, Petronas has highlighted six cultural beliefs that would be the integral part of the company’s good working culture vision, starting with the emphasis on results followed by focus execution.

“The third is owns it (a sense of belonging). If everybody behaves like this is their father’s company, everything will be fine,” he said.

He said the other beliefs are nurturing trust, giving feedback and sharing success which is working as a team and avoiding working in silo.

Wan Zulkiflee said the company also put great emphasis on talent development and spent around RM400 million annually on it.

Apart from the good work culture, he said Petronas is also being defined by the shared values incorporated by its previous president and chief executive officer, the late Tun Azizan Zainul Abidin who held the position from 1988 to 1995 — loyalty, professionalism and integrity.

    Thank you

    Yours truly,
    SS LEE

And yes many Malaysian Chinese got cheated by Mainland Chinese, so are many Mainland Chinese got cheated by Malaysians Chinese especially from Penang Chinese.
The question is how to preserve and practice the good culture and moral values?

As Chinese Malaysian, I was brought up with the influence of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.

From Confucianism, (Ruler has ruler responsibility, subject has subject responsibility, father has father responsibility, and son has son responsibility.) I learn to take on responsibility, integrity, honor and respect for the elder.

From Buddhism, (Things are in flux never still. It’s begins from emptiness, will end in emptiness and reemerge from emptiness. Life is cycles of birth and death until Enlightenment and Nirvana.) I learn to be kind, be humble, selflessness, compassion, empathy, sharing and let other take over when my time in this earthly world expired.

From Taoism, (Heaven and Earth are one. Nature and Man are one.) I learn to live with nature, at peace and at ease with myself and others by accepting everyone.

There are strength in diversity, let’s us work together and harvest the best of every ethnicity to build a truly progressive and just society where the prosperity of the nation can be enjoyed together in a fair and equitable manner.
And let’s us truly embrace and celebrate our diversity where different ethnicity, religions and cultures live in peace and harmony with mutual understanding, respect and acceptance.

Salam Dearest YAB PM Tun Dr. Mahathir,

    1. What’s so sad is the fact that those “keturunan pendatang” can talk about their origin (from other countries; of course not “Tanah Melayu”), their motherland (free to discuss about their ancestors’ history), and can also have their own schools using their ancestors’ language, etc.

    2. The Malays do not have “Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Melayu”, but they have SJK Cina & SJK Tamil. Why are they so special?

    3. Yet we Malays (indigenous people) cannot even talk about “Tanah Melayu” (Malaysian history) and sort of being forbidden (being called racists) from stating down facts such as the following: “1 million of the non-indigenous people were given citizenship even though they were not qualified.”

    4. Why can’t we tell the truth and state down facts? Most probably it’s too painful to swallow the truth!

    5. Accusing the Malays of being racist just because several NGOs and political parties organized “The Malay Dignity Congress” to discuss about their problems / plight (main objective) shows how desperate some people are. Old trick! (Modal lapuk!)

    6. No Malays went ‘amok’ (rioting) right after “The Malay Dignity Congress”. So, what’s the problem? The non-Malays can also organize their own gatherings (mainly) to discuss about their problems.

    7. Generally, Malays are very tolerant people, but we also have our limits.

    8. It’s really disgusting to see how some leaders (mostly non-Malays) react to “The Malay Dignity Congress” as if we (Malays) have committed very big sins talking (condemning /lamenting) about our own poor achievements in life! Just please grow up!

    Thank you Tun.

    – May Allah SWT bless Tun and family –

    Tun

ADDEMDUM TO MY COMMENTS ON THE MANDARIN MALAYSIAN CHINESE WHO LOOK LIKE CHINESE AND THE MALAY DIGNITY CONGRESS.

Now I speak about the ENGLISH SPEAK MALAYSIAN CHINESE WHO LOOK LIKE CHINESE.

The most famous English speaking Chinese who looks like a Chinese was Lee Kuan Yew who spoke no Chinese dialect or Mandarin before 1959. His name was Harry Lee.

The English speaking Malaysian Chinese are even worse than the Mandarin speaking Malaysian Chinese because they do not even speak Mandarin. All of them are completely hollowed out of their forefather’s Chinese cultural, Confucius, traditional customs and beliefs like Lee Kuan Yew who confessed his favourite book was ‘The Prisoner of Zenda’ !

All of them are not aware of their forefathers roots. They are well-known for being argumentative and brash unlike the Mandarin Malaysian Chinese who have an inferiority complex.

The Malaysian Chinese as we can now see have a real MALAYSIAN CHINESE DILEMMA in relation to their souls. Therefore, many joined those funny Inocme Tax free RM 2 incorporated places of worship to mix with more of the same. The latter now have accumulated so much INCOME TAX FREE MONEY that they now venture into Malaysian Politics with the 14th GE. Most of them are so-called evangelists like those young rioters of Hong Kong who are backed with tons of money and more.

With an overlay of English speaking and Mandarin speaking Malaysian Chinese on the hodge podge of the many clans like Hainanese, Hokkien, Cantonese, Foochos, Hakka, Shanghai, Muslim Chinese, Teochew etc, the Malaysian Chinese are one big bag of a rojak community which look like Chinese but NOTHING INSIDE.

Therefore, these hollowed out Malaysian Chinese who look like Chinese believe in MONEY and not the soul who used to hitch their wagon to Lee Kuan Yew but desperately looking for a replacement. Good luck to them

The New and Incorruptible Government of course has Chinese who look like Chinese all over. Their verbal expression will belie THEIR ULTIMATE LOYALTY EVENTUALLY. The proof of a pudding is in the eating.

In political terms, the Malays are far stronger than the Chinese who look like Chinese because the Malaysian Chinese ARE NOT HOMOGENOUS INSIDE THEMSELVES but as varied as a multi=coloured kaleidoscope !

Malaysia Boleh Tun as always. No problem if we can decide who is a MALAYSIAN CHINESE ?

If Malaysia decides to finally have a single education system, the next question is what language should that be. The simple way to resolve this, is for all the various communities, across all generations of these communities, to come to some sort of congress on national unity language. Let everyone give their input. And I am sure, that eventually a single unifying language will be chosen. Communities must listen to one another without personal biases, but MUST come to a compromise. Despite being a majority race, the Malays cannot have it their way, nor can the Chinese and Indians have their own ways. Compromise IS the only solution. The alternative is what the country has now, and with that, a perpetual inter-racial conflict.

In Singapore, they already resolved this half a century ago. No, Lee Kuan Yew did not choose Mandarin simply because of the Chinese majority in that country. He chose the Only truly international language ever, the English Language. All other languages are taught as second languages at school.

Malaysia can do the same too.

    The English Language.

  26. twinpeaks Oct 27,2019 1:36 PM

I take note of what bigwinz said, and it is for this very reason that it should be noted that truly multiracial communities do not work in the long term. Never in the history of mankind had what a country like Malaysia is doing, succeeded socially let alone economically. It is a miracle that Malaysia has gotten this far by 2019. The entire world gawk at Malaysia, not simply in bewilderment and admiration, but I am sure that they are also thinking… for how long can Malaysia keep this up? It is darned hard work, I can tell you.

For me, a multiracial country does not mean that a government should simply let various communities do as they wish. As everyone can see the result, that approach has only produced severe headaches for successive Prime Ministers in Malaysia, the latest one, Tun himself. It is simply that, for as long as the country does things this way, it will never end. The country will will be a perpetual mode of inter-racial conflicts.

What I have been suggesting is simply that if you want true, genuinely heartfelt UNITY, whether you like it or not, you cannot have multiple systems of education. If you have children growing up thinking that there are only interacting with fellow countrymen from different races because they share the same identity cards, they that country is setting itself up for some very explosive and undesirable future.

Multiple language education system will ensure that this country will have no choice but to continue with a multiple racially-based political system. If you create a demand for racially-based parties like UMNO, Bersatu, MCA, MIC, DAP et cetera, the politicians will supply that demand. On the other hand, if a country FORCES every child , whether their parents agree or not, to study in a single language medium school (e.g. English Language in Singapore), then in the long term, there is no longer any demand for racially-based political system in the future. That is why a country like Singapore can succeed, not only economically, but also socially. If you ask a Singaporean Malay where his ultimate loyalty lies, he or she would say to Singapore, and not to Malay-led Malaysia or Indonesia.

This is the choice, no matter how difficult, that a country like Malaysia must make. It is better to do it know, or sooner rather than later. What you must not do is sweep the root problem under the carpet.

Correction; I still remember Alvin Lee and his girl friend for posting an ONLINE gesture in enjoying their bak kut teh with the backdrop of raya aildifitri and caught attention of all political parties that cursed and teow (meaning scold him in hokkien slang) him for being insensitive to the malay communities. Even dr chuah from mca who was caught with eating the forbidden fruit with his mistress at his constituency during pak lah era. No doubt, he is a minister cum mca president, and he admitted and resigned immediately to show his courage. What i am surprise is the locals are more interested to know his secret in maintaining long course with his mistress rather than a morality of his position at ministry level and race base political party representing malaysian chinese first, just like umno and mic.

    Tun

I fully support your views on the Malay Dignity Congress.

I also request all to look at some of the comments on this Malay Dignity Congress by so-called Chinese who are in fact they are not.

As I said before a Malaysian Chinese these days may look like a Chinese. But the majority do not behave like a Chinese of their forefathers these days. This is why these look-like Chinese are full of hot air and clash with non-Chinese all the time until they realise their place in the Sun.

In fact, these brash and thoughtless Malaysian Chinese and their behaviour is an embarrassment to me who knew that these look-like Chinese Malaysian Chinese are barking up the wrong tree. They have lost their cultural ballast of filial piety, Confucius values and ancestral history. They are as empty inside their bodies as a hollowed out gourd.

How many Malaysians, especially the Malaysian Chinese are aware that when the Chinese vernacular bloomed under British rule, all the school text-books were imported from the ‘Commercial Press’ Shanghai, China. That the school curriculum was based on Chinese subjects on China like geography, hygiene, history, mathematics, sociology etc.? I believe that it was after Merdeka that the Chinese vernacular schools began to revert to Malayan topics.

What am I trying to say ? IT IS OBVIOUS THAT ALL THE CHINESE WHO WENT TO CHINESE VERNACULR SCHOOLS HAD ONLY A COMMAND OF THE CHINESE LANGUAGE UP TO 1,000 WORDS. THE CHINESE HAVE 10,000 CHARACTERS IN THEIR VOCABULARY.

Therefore, at best a Malaysian Chinese who went to a Chinese Vernacular School in Malaya/Malaysia, knows just enough Chinese characters being 1,000 at the most because their teachers did not know more, TO READ THE CHINESE MEDIA NEWSPAPERS WHICH CONSIDER THE MANDARIN SPEAKING MALAYSIAN CHINESE AS THEIR RICE-BOWL !

The Mandarin Chinese we meet generally in Malaysia speak a form of Mandarin which is peculiar to their Malaysian alumnus. At best they only appreciate the Chinese comics in the Chinese newspapers. Therefore, a Mandarin speaking Malaysian Chinese is ONLY A MANDARIN SPEAKER AND IS NOT A CHINESE HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL EXPERT. There is a historical antecedent to this.

To pass a degree course in a Chinese University in China or Taiwan, a student must have a command of more than 3,000 Chinese characters.

With the information as above in hand, THE WHOLE LOT OF POLITICAL MALAYSIAN CHINESE ARE JUST MASQUERADING AS CHINESE WITH THE GIFT OF THE GAB. They might as well master Bahasa Melayu and become a proper professor like Professor Tan Sri KKK whom these fakes do not like !

Instead of becoming strong in mind and body like their forefathers, the present lot of Malaysian Chinese are like a hollowed out gourd – empty inside and weak as well by clinging to their cry that they are Chinese.

The fact is they are not Chinese like that bunch rioting in Hong Kong with names like Ramsbotham. Now these empty vessels Malaysian Chinese used to look up to the fallible Lee Kuan Yew as their icon which was added on in the mid-1970s by some weird foreign beliefs.

With the latest Superman comic caper, they are reaching out openly to China for the first time by cutting bonds with Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew ?

BUT CAN THESE TREASONOUS TYPES HAVE A DUAL ROLE BEING CRYPTO-SINGAPOREANS AND ALSO CRYTO-COMMUNISTS WITH THEIR WEIRD FOREIGN BELIEFS ?

Lest we forget, these Malaysian Chinese who look like Chinese types only speak pidgin Mandarin and have no real Chinese cultural ballast inside them. Their god is MONEY.

Please note also this type of Malaysian Chinese who only look like a Chinese is like butter faced with a knife when he or she meets up with a REAL CHINESE FROM CHINA – millions of them.

I was very amused when certain Malaysian Chinese thought they were smart and went to do business in China. They all lost money. The political Malaysian Chinese made a fool of themselves which were exposed in recent titanic projects and by the Superman Comic caper. They were comics. (Flip flop lagi???)

Therefore, I fully support our beloved Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s views on the Malay Dignity Congress.

For the curious, I have 2 pristine copies of the first edition of the Malay Dilemma which I bought for $5 each at Donald Moore Singapore from the salesman Cho Jock Kim a-soon-to-be tycoon. Unopened and unread. I told Tun that I have never read his magnum opus because I did not want to have my mind-set to be influenced either way. He felled off his chair ! Hence, I am the only person with an uncluttered mind WOTH NO MALAY DILEMMA.

Malaysia Boleh Tun as always. No problem because I never read your magnum opus ‘ Malay Dilemma. ‘ But I treasure the autographs by Tun in them ! Acheh !

I still remember Alvin Lee and his girl friend for posting a gesture in enjoying their bak kut teh with the backdrop of raya aildifitri and caught attention of all political parties that cursed and teow (meaning scold him in hokkien slang) him for being insensitive to the malay communities. May i ask, is there any rule or policy being ironed out in federal parliament that forbid malaysian chinese to eat bak kut teh at home, in kedai and on streets during raya, deepavali or x’mas?

You can go a head with your wishes of Acheh, mubarakchan, but you cannot stop malaysians of all races to deny you a vote since in politics, it is about policy making or changes since everyone knows who is in, who is out when general election is called.

Dont forget, there are so many of them eying for ministry positions to dictate the federal unearned budget to favor themselves too.

P/s: when we are living in a glass house, one should never baling batu since everyone can see them doing it in post it era with social media networking to inspire and shape the young generations in the next 20 years, are you ready, mubarakchan?

  30. bigwinz Oct 27,2019 11:08 AM

    Good morning Malaysia,

It’s not the congress that is racist but the content in which was tabled by people who were respectable public and institutional figures. For people who were born in Malaysia, we all consider ourselves Malay or Malaysian regardless of our ethnicity. People outside of the country would describe us as “Malay” regardless of our ethnicity.

So then why must we (younger generations) be taught of the differences? We should focus on our strength and weaknesses as Malays or Malaysian. Work to help each other improve be the best version of ourselves.

Have whatever congress and please promote Malaysians as we are all proud to be. Be genuine and build the trust that is very much needed in new Malaysia. Malaysians need to wake up to the fact that corruption and nepotism is stealing from the poor not the rich. The taxes, oil royalty, etc in Malaysia is there to help all of us be better versions of ourselves.

I would like to propose the list below for all future congresses of Malaysia (all races). Please could any brave leader discuss:

how can we build trust together,
how can we support each other,
    how can we grow together,
    how can we learn together,
how can we share and prosper together,

Forget the past, let’s look to the future. If everyone is sincere and want to build a future for Malaysians then let’s work together to do it.

Remember that it was Malaysians who changed the government and not these purported leaders. We know what we want now let’s do it.

Thank you all for your time and Happy Deepavali

    Tun

ADDENDUM TO MY COMMENT ON THE MALAY DIGNITY CONGRESS.

On the Malaysian Chinese who only look like Chinese which exist in present day Malaysia a dime-a dozen, here are some points for the edification of all, thus :-

    1. In 1956, the Premier Chou En-lai of the People’s Republic of China commented on Lee Kuan Yew an English speaking only Chinese as ‘ a yellow banana.’ This analogy maybe applied to the Malaysian Chinese who look like Chinese only but devoid any Chinese-ness inside.

    2. I often askd a new Malaysian Chinese friend from which province or village his forefathers came from in China. To my surprise, none could provide me with the information.

Conversely, why are some Malaysian Chinese who look like Chinese only make so much fuss about race and religion ?

Politics should be based on topics concerning all subjects outside of race and religion especially in our beloved Malaysia but to be handled by special and exclusive forums only and not by Ahmad, Ah Kow and Samy down the street.

Malaysia Boleh Tun as always. No problem. Malaysians are so very fond of producing issues as old as the hills as current topics over and over again. These events must be made known and highlighted to all and sundry.

Kiasuism is a way to Success
Yes it is and yes it leads to hatred which will fail it too

Perhaps HBT is encouraging the Malay to be more Kiasu
    To lead to Success
So let us have a Malay Kiasu Prime Minister who Anwar is the pick
Anwar, you must be stern & kiasu towards DAP which represents the Chinese faking The Voice for Malaysia

Yes Kiauism works also in Israel
    Israel is indeed very Kiasu
It is Successful, but Fears in many Ways
Israel is the King of Kiasuism

One Israeli life is equal to the life of 10 Palestine
Indeed Israel Kiasuim is the very caused of most disaster in the World
Israel Fooled the World for its Benefits
The US supports it fooling Saudi, UAE and the World Today
These are the very reasons for World Unrest
Never The Isis, Islam, Iran, Saddam and None
    It is Israel
    The Exists of All Evil

    How Israel Kiasuism works?
They are the designer of World Unrest
They fooled everybody taking Ride-on US, UN, West, Saudi, UAE & The World
Now Israel is campaigning visiting Oman, UAE, Saudi
to get support to make Iran looks Bad

    Israel is The True Evil

This is a very tremendous good example of Kiasuism
But let see whether it Works

    So Orang Melayu yg Lembab

    Indeed throughtout the World

I read the fb account of dsn too since he too has things to say and share in the fb ecosystem and server too to justify his political kempen for 1 Malaysia. It gives me the impression of his justification is still bet on malay vote banks to stay relevant too. I cannot, and i wont stop him from doing that since i am not in his shoes, why? politics is always about what you can do to increase vote bank of of your own race first. What was done in the past we cannot change, what should be done in the future, we can only improve that fit the saying of either you are a fool or a liar. Yesterday was past, it is past tense. twinpeaks Oct 26,2019 4:59 PM

It is utterly unfair and rude for non-Malays to criticize the Malay Dignity Congress. Being a Malaysian citizen does not mean that one can simply criticize other fellow Malaysians, who are not from one’s own group, unless you are addressing this to your own group. This is utterly rude. In the west, you can be awkwardly reprimanded for asking another person, even a friend, how much he earns for a living. It is a personal thing and is considered very rude, unless you are his parent, spouse or child. So, for a non-Bumpiputera to question a Bumiputera what he does with his own fellow Bumiputeras, is a very rude thing to do. I may criticise all Malaysians, because I have a bit of every race in myself. The only exception is Indian, thus I would never touch on Malaysian Indian affairs. Indeed, if I want to talk about the Indians, it would simply be to congratulate them on some matter. But never to criticise.

When politicians of any races cannot accept and respect criticism from the general public, then, they should self-censored themselves from being the target of criticism that can caused vote loss, dont you think so, twinpeaks?

The Malay Dignity Congress is not a new thing, as it is simply for fellow Malay leaders and people to search for solutions. Whatever the problems that are facing them. If anyone should have a nation-wide congress to discuss such matters, it would be the Malays. I would also recommend the Dayaks and Natives of Borneo to do the same. And more frequently.

Only MIC stands for Malaysian Indian Congress, is twinpeaks saying Malay Dignity Congress is to replace United Malay National Organization and MIC? Mana boleh? The same old national question would be asked, kenapa beliau boleh bikin, kenapa aku tak boleh bikin?

The Chinese community in Malaysia must realise that they are very lucky to be accorded Malaysian citizenship. If they were in Australia or Britain, they will never be able to learn in Mandarin at school, as such a thing would be considered simply a nonsense in those countries. So, they should consider themselves VERY fortunate to be able to do this in Malaysia. Having said that, I am of the opinion that we must gradually abolish vernacular schooling in this country.

When those Malay, Chinese, Indians and Bumiputeras in Semenanjung Malaysia, Sabah dan Sarawak including state mps have decided to migrate to Australia and Britain, they preferred English as their common communication while keeping their mother tongue’s dialects of their birth states. Even Malay grab food rider speaks very good English in Singapore too, therefore, mastering a language not of your own mother dialect is not haram in Singapore. Eventhough i dont speak Indonesia National Language, being a Malaysian, i can understand and read, and same applies to American English, UK English, Putonghua and Mandarin. I can differentiate Hindi and Tamil Language, can you, twinpeaks?

So, there is nothing wrong for organising the Malay Dignity Congress. It is normal and non-Malays should not panic. If they are so worried, then equally organise similar congresses of their own. It is a free world.

Yup, there is nothing wrong for organizing the Malay Dignity Congress but in politics, it is always about vote counts. twinpeaks, can the slogan of abolishing vernacular schools increase vote counts in the Malay communities whereby their younger generations are more open minded to the world events today since with a touch of their fingers, they can easily access to information of their choice too?

Slogan to abolish vernacular schools secara buta tuli without understanding the ground sentiment is akin to meludah ke langit terkena di air muka sendiri. I already said, jika niat mereka adalah noble, i mean murni, you will see the light at the end of the tunnel. Politics was never a career that can make you rich overnight, similarly, politics was never a career that cannot bankrupt you overnight. No matter how bad is the storm, the rain will stop.

P/s: during the 70s and 80s, mainland chinese left their home provinces to find a new frontier in hong kong and western countries. What surprise me is these young innocent Vietnamese too betting on this journey with the consent of their parents due to hearsays to UK, and frozen to death due to stricter immigration rules in UK and Europe. It is very unfortunate, and sad.

The ideology of ISIS too had attracted young moslem without consent from their parents into the war torn and isolated middle-east asia region in the desert that is still in military war, will you allow your children to join such movement to declare wars to their own country and other countries in the name jihad?

    Playing The Innocent Victim
This is a very tremendous good example of Kiasuism
But let see whether it Works

They destroyed the Middle East, Yes
But they also syringe Islam to the Bloodstream of most
European, West, US, British and The World
Islam is the Fastest Growing Religion in the World Today
    It’s Undeniable

    So Orang Melayu yg Lembab
    Perlu pelajari Kiasu
    Kiasu tidak Haram
Kiasu mementingkan diri sendiri yg tidak digalakan Islam
Cuma perlu di waktu dan orang tertentu sahaja seperti HBT & DAP
Lee & Lim , Ramasamalingan & Son pte ltd

Malay Dignity Congress need to be be encouraged.

A race which lacks dignity will embroiled themselves in corruption, either self corruption or corrupting others, have rent-seeking behaviour, corrupting everyone in the whole eco-system. In the case of 1MDB, as we read in the court proceedings, minutes of meetings can easily be changed. Everyone in the eco-system is corrupted. Implicitly, a dignified Malay race will also benefit other races in term of being honest and non-corrupted, and having the government money spent wisely.

Dignified Malay also mean that Malay request other races to have dignity in respecting the earlier “Jus soli” agreements, the social contracts. This is taken as a reminder to everyone that Malay and other races had made an agreement about the special position of the rulers (Sultan / Agong), the unquestionable official religion – Islam, and the special position of the Malay, with the trade-off giving citizenship to other races.

It is very unfortunate these days, Islam, rulers and Malay is being ridiculed by a small section of other races especially in the social media. Since, apprehension of these kind of nasty behaviour does not come from the party that represented the Chinese such as DAP and MCA, it is up to the Malay or the association represented by the Malay to remind everyone including Malay and Non-Malay that there is an agreement that should not be disputed in social media so that the harmony between the races in Malaysia can be maintained.

Because of Dr. Mahathir past work in developing the country as the prime minister, I voted PH into power.

However, due to the reason that there seem more ridicule of the special position of the Malay, Sultan and religion after PH gained power, “the comic book” phenomena, Ronnie Liu behaviour, and etc etc… Malay thinks it is less risky that in the next election, that the 2/3rd majority that PH seek is denied. The signals by Malay comments in the social media is quite clear – even many in the social media said that PH is a single term government. Since DAP only contest in the area that they can win, the real votes backlash will be reflected on Bersatu. So, Bersatu needs to work harder in gaining Malay trust.

To sedara Anwar Ibrahim . Apa kena mengena kongres maruah Melayu ni dengan “penganjur KMM corrupt” ? Cuba mencari logic sedara semasa interview di Turki seperti yang dilapor oleh The Star, tapi tak nampak kena mengena pun. Prof Zainal Kling is innocent and free from any corruption. He only did the best to follow firman Allah di dalam Al Quran –

“Sesungguhnya Allah tidak akan mengubah keadaan suatu kaum, sebelum kaum itu sendiri mengubah apa yang ada pada diri mereka.”

Sedara Anwar, Salah ke firman Allah ni ?

If I was a Chinese Malaysian, I would be very careful not to offend the majority race. In a democracy, the majority race holds the ultimate political power, and anything can happen. So, be mindful of that simple fact.

  40. twinpeaks Oct 26,2019 4:59 PM

So, there is nothing wrong for organising the Malay Dignity Congress. It is normal and non-Malays should not panic. If they are so worried, then equally organise similar congresses of their own. It is a free world.

    https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/asia/thai-king-strips-disloyal-royal-consort-of-all-titles-palace-12021306

Xiao feels surprise of news covering the thai royal noble consort major general sineenat, 34, being stripped of her royal title by the king, 67, whereby in Thailand, lèse majesté is criminalized by Section 112 of the Thai Criminal Code. It is illegal to defame, insult, or threaten the king, queen, heir-apparent, or regent?

Honestly speaking, i dont feel surprise at all.

Upon Meghan’s marriage to Prince Harry, she became a princess of the United Kingdom entitled to the style of Royal Highness, as well as Duchess of Sussex, Countess of Dumbarton and Baroness Kilkeel.

She is styled as “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex”, and she is the first person to hold that title.

Can her love for prince harry, and vice versa, save their fairly tale marriage of living happily ever after since the paparazi of tabloids in uk killed her mother in-law to sell circulations 20 years ago?

We just have to wait it out, and i sure hope their marriage shall end as fairly tale.

Whether female or feminists like it or not, in order for your marriage to last forever, as wife, you must always be the supporting role for your husband, your children and in-law and you should never outshine your husband in public.

P/s: menara wawasan tak akan jadi one because no individuals be it locals or foreigners want to own an office or residence of 93 storey which has nothing to with racism or malay dignity congress.

Why is so many VC feel Malay need more Maruah? The Malay already have it all. The prime ministers, all the key ministers, all the top civil servants, all the major banks, 90% of student in the all the government universities, all the Bumiputra priorities / benefits/ preference and many other special Bumiputra provisions and requirements and compliance (applicable to all commercial businesses) , are all these not already considered as confirming that Malay is enjoying supreme Maruah? I support all these Government measures in helping the poor, which ideally must eventually include all other really poor citizens. Never once query them except that it has been going on for a bit too long and they don’t seems relevant if it should be allowed to continue to be applied across the board irrespective of whether you are rich or poor Bumiputra and Politicians continue to misused it to enrich themselves and their cronies. I never for once think Malay need to fight for their Maruah. With all the system and important / supreme institutions, policies and law in place, not for once I thought anyone is so stupid or daring as to do the impossible thing of challenging what is spelt out in the constitution on the position of Malay, the religion and the royalty. The only thing I find it hard to accept is politicians, especially the ultras corrupted Politicians keep cooking up more and more and more of race and religious issues, their constant thumping of Tanah Melayu, Malay special place as spelt out in the constitution when no one is challenging it, why others are so lucky and should be so indebted to the extent the they actually should not have been here and how others who works their butt out to wrk out a better living or are more successful, are thief or called by all kind of name and accused of stealing from or cheating the Malay and how useless / stupid the current majority Malay dominated government that DAP is the one that is running the government and ills of of everything? Almost all the problem or failures are cause by Non Malay! The slightest debate by non Malay for a more inclusive government would ends up the Ultras Malay calling others as pendatang or told to go back, or threaten with darah tumpah Tanah air ku. Truthfully for me and I can see many of non Malay, the best thing that the non Malay pray and wish God help to make it happen, is for majority of Malay to help more Malay to develop greater sense of need to channeling their fighting spirit, work even harder than they are now or ever, have even greater self confident, take even fuller advantage of what ever advantages and preferences while the government can still afford it, strive for even greater success, scale greater height, gain even greater economic and technological success & advancement, take responsibility for their own failures or successes, wane them self off all the unsustainable government subsidies and strive for even more economic independent, be a even stronger and competitive global players, date to venture out to compete with courage and be a even greater proud winner globally than now, don’t be shy to email at the help or non Malay or any foreigner if need to. Let us together as Malaysian make MALAYSIA a globally responsible, respectable and relevant nations, economically strong and all Rakyat can stand tall internationally. There is really no Maruah to constantly bully one another or to prevent fellow Rakyat from progressing or to perpetually having to demand or rely on government handouts or subsidies or preferential treatments to survive. Strong wealthy nation are never built by subsidies or handouts or by emphasis on race and religion. Responsible and Successful government do the right things creating the right environment and by nurturing right, progressive thinking / competitive / confident Rakyat to build a globally relevant and strong and sustainable nation. The Maruah of a nation is the most important Maruah as It will automatically Ensure the Maruah of all of its citizen, and MALAYSIA is 60 +% Malay. Demi Negara Di Dahulukan

Insyaallah, Insyaallah, Insyaalah tangisan yg ku titiskan

Fitnah , Tipu Helah adalag senjata utama Israel

Dunia Islam Tidak seharunya Gentar akan Ugutan Dunia Barat, Amerika yg di terajui Israel . Malah Dunia Islam seharusnya pemperkuatkan Saf
Memperkuatkan Saf mengarah satu Qiblat berImamkan Imam Mahdi

    Assalamualaikum Tun,

What is wrong for the Malays to gather together, to reflect upon the fate of the Malays, and how to overcome it? I can see there is a lot of fear among the non malays for such a gathering. Are they fearful of a united Malays?

The Malays are always on the defensive. Recently a DAP leader named Ronnie Liu spoke against your administration openly, and said he was merely speaking on behalf of the Malaysians. Which Malaysians is he referring to? Most likely he was refering to the chinese dissatisfaction with your administration. Are Malaysians consists of only chinese? The last I check the majority race in Malaysia are the Malays? Did Ronnie also speak on behalf of the Malays when he wrote his dissatisfaction? If not, how can he say he is voicing what ‘Malaysians’ say when in fact he was referring to Chinese. It was the chinese that was not satisfied with the ICERD. It was the chinese that was dissatisfied about the khat issue. It was the chinese that was dissatisfied with the Kongress Maruah Melayu. It was the chinese that was dissatisfied the government still provide assistance to the bumiputra in the budget. Why not call a spade a spade? It was the chinese that was dissatisfied with Tun’s government and not all Malaysians. Malaysians are not consist of only chinese. Somehow, a long the way, the Malaysian want had been hijacked by what the chinese want.

When Tun said a million people became citizens, at the independence of Malaysia. Is this not a historical fact? I have always that there was a social contract that the malay rights and previligous has been protected in the constitution in exchange for citizenship. They argue there was no social contract. There was no protection of Malay rights in the constitution. And that they were given citizenship as part of deal by the British for independence. They claim the social contract was first brought up by one Abdullah, and not during independence. How they twist and turn the facts.

Tun was right in claiming that Malays can gather and discuss their fate. Nobody can claim otherwise. I support Tun and thank you for continue defend ‘agama, bangsa dan negara’.

Malay leaders should unite in solidarity and support Tun. Stay strong Tun.

  48. mubarakchan Oct 25,2019 9:53 PM

    Tun

On the Malay Dignity Congress, one glaring fact was that there was no regrets or remorse concerning the rape of the financial resources of our beloved Malaysian coupled with vandalism by the Singaporean Puppet Corrupt and Uncaring BN Government 2004-2018 and its equally corrupt elite and GLCs/SOEs.

Also, if this decadent BN Government had spent RM 1.5 Trillion for the benefit of the Rakyat 2004-2018, there would have been no necessity for a Malay Dignity Congress 2019.

But according to the UN, the World Bank and the IMF, over RM 1.5 Trillion was siphoned overseas between 2002-2018. Hence, the rub.

It was also good to note that no swords were unsheathed. And the Malay Dignity Congress organised by 4 distinguished Malaysian universities were conducted in an orderly manner and decorum within the four walls. Thus, our beloved Malaysia stands out in the World comparatively, thus :-

The following countries have demonstrations, riots, chaos, violence and arson :-

    1. London – The United Kingdom – Demonstrations at the drop of the hat

    2. Paris – France – On going demonstrations for months

    3. Barcelona – Spain – Huge demonstrations for Separation

    4. Beirut – Lebanon – Thousands demonstrate against a stagnant economy

    5. Cairo – Egypt – Demonstrators demand democracy

6 Hong Kong – China – Rioters want democracy

    7. Ecuador – Demonstrators want a better living standard.

    8. Haiti – Demonstrators demand the President’s removal

    9. Honduras – Demonstrators want peace and security.

    10. Bolivia – Demonstrators demand a new President

    11. Caracas – Venezuela – Demonstrators demand the President’s removal.

    12. La Paz – Peru – Demonstrators against their poor standard of living

    13. Santiago – Chile – the richest South American country – Demonstrators want a better standard of living.

    14. Buenos Aires -Argentina – The demonstrators want another President

    15. Rio de Janeiro – Brazil – The thousands demonstrated against corruption.

With the New and Incorruptible Government of the old and the young, the good and the great as led by our Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad with DSAI and the Team by his side, beloved Malaysia can now look forward to a period of quiescence to achieve peace, harmony and prosperity.

Malaysia Boleh Tun as always. No problem.

  49. SSLEE Oct 25,2019 9:13 PM

    Dear PM Tun Dr. Mahathir,

Please allow me and pardon me to say that no right minded Malaysians will object to any gathering of Malay to discuss their affair as quote by Tun; “It cannot be that while other ethnic groups can have their gatherings to discuss their affairs, the Malays cannot, that their gathering is racist. Unquote”

The above gathering is clearly a political gathering with race and religion-baiting organized by the same BN corrupted cronies and lackeys trying hard to split and undermine the credibility of PH government.

Zainal Kling, the organiser of the event, set the stage for what was followed by ranting about how PH government had allowed non-Malay to put Islam down, “mock Malay rulers and Malay standing, manipulate Malay and undermine Malay dignity”. He ended up with a rejoinder to non-Malays that “Malaysia is for Malays” and threatened the non-Malay Malaysians with the revocation of citizenship.

Did the organizer of the gathering conveniently forget of the fact that it was Umno that betrayed the Malays? A party that long claimed to champion Malay rights and Islam that brought the country to the very brink of ruin

Their greed and unscrupulousness almost drove the nation to its knees and tarnished its international reputation. What is worse, a clutch of these same so-called champions of race and religion was even willing to treacherously collude with a foreign power to cover up their misdeeds.

Because of their bigoty, incompetence, impropriety and sense of entitlement, the nation is now facing huge difficulties.

Our education system is an utter disaster, corruption is rife, our once proud national institutions are in decay, and the vast majority of Malaysians are stuck with low wages and high levels of debt.

In the meantime, the families and cronies of these champions of race and religion continue to reap most of the economic benefits and grow richer while cynically moaning the loss of Malay rights.

No amount of shouting and screaming about the loss of dignity and blaming others can divert attention from their own colossal failures.

If they genuinely felt a loss of dignity, they should have taken their own leaders to task rather than vent their fury on ethnic minorities.

May I remind the political leaders and academicians who organised the Congress must know in no uncertain terms that dignity cannot be built upon bigotry, intolerance and extremism. If they really want to be respected, they should strive instead to serve the nation with integrity, honour and respect for the rights of all Malaysians.

Malaysia is irrevocably multi-ethnic and multi-religious. All ethnic groups have shed their blood, toiled and sacrificed for this nation of ours and no one can ever take that away from any of us.

The sooner we all learn to live together and respect each other, the better it will be for all of us.

Respectfully when Tun talks about, “The non-indigenous people were accepted as citizens” please remember:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QZt_SYd-_o
Umno de facto deputy president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi took a dig at former Umno president Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s alleged Indian parentage today, and accused the latter of politically exploiting the Malays throughout his 22-year premiership

    https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2019/08/15/marina-slams-zakir-naik-for-telling-chinese-malaysians-to-go-back
Social activist Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir has criticised controversial preacher Zakir Naik for calling on Malaysian Chinese to “go back” to where they belong.
On Twitter, Marina shared online portal Malaysiakini’s Zakir Naik report on the issue, tweeting: “That’s rather a lot of my family, who are you to tell us that?”

    Thank you

Salam Dearest YAB PM Tun Dr. Mahathir,

I’m with Tun on this matter.

It’s so ridiculous and stupid that we (Malays) cannot have our own gatherings without being labelled / accused as RACISTS.

I always wonder what would happen if those REAL RACISTS were the majority in this country?

Most probably we would be prohibited to identify ourselves as Malays.

I feel so sad looking at the current scenario.

    Salam Tun

You have spoken the truth in the simplest way possible to educate a people who are ignorant of the historical facts of this nation.

They will counter you by saying that it is all in the past, and do not count for what is present and future.

These people, most of them are descendants of the unqualified one million citizens then, and they show how ungrateful they are by disputing the social contract and disrupting racial harmony just because they can after they won the GE14.

According to them you are not the pulling factor for the election victory, and they want you to resign.

    Such are the ingrates.

  52. Fariq Islam Oct 25,2019 5:24 PM

    Assalamualaikum, Tun.

I think Tun’s statement during the Congress was still acceptable and not over.

The problem was some of the speakers gave provocative statements, for which we can’t deny this fact, especially touching on the revocation of citizenship. Why the provocative speaker talked about such, knowing that by withdrawing the citizenship of others can’t upgrade/bring back Malays’ dignity?

Our leaders should focus more how to improve the country and our economy! Please stop politicking using race/religion card. Love our country and save our future.
