PLEA BARGAIN II 10

1. Najib says the decision with regard to the charge of money laundering against Reza Aziz is proper because money laundering is not a crime (here). Therefore, the settlement is not a “plea bargain”.

2. If it is not a crime then what is his discharge not amounting to an acquittal about – acquittal for what if money laundering is not a crime? Incidentally the same law includes Anti-terrorism Financing Act – which of course is not a crime. Call it by any name but the settlement is unique. A thief steals money and when arrested is charged with stealing or abusing power or retaining illegally acquired money and asked to give back some of the money. He then will be discharged though not acquitted.

3. Not being acquitted means he is still guilty as charged. That’s okay. All he has to do is to give back less than half of the money he has stolen. This means he will enjoy more than half of the money he had stolen and be a free man.

4. What do you call this generosity if it is not plea bargain? As Dato Seri Anwar said, in Malaysia you can steal ten chickens but if you give back one chicken then you are free to enjoy the nine others.

5. This is great for thieves. Maybe it is also great for certain lawyers. But we have to keep a close watch of our pockets and safes. And foreign tourists too should be careful. This is the new normal in Malaysia.

WHEN IRB RECORD SHOWED ‘PERSONAL INCOME TAXES’ ARE NOT DECLARED, THEN, THIS IS A WHITE COLLAR CRIMES, TAK KISAH PAPA MAMA MU ADA 3 JUTA AHLI KE, ATAU ‘SHELL’ COMPANIES UNDER DIRECTORS OR SO AND SO AHLI, SAUDARA MARA, KAWAN, FAMILY MEMBERS ATAU TIDAK.

THATS THE LAW OF INTERNAL REVENUE BOARD SINCE THE TAXATION SYSTEM IS INTEGRATED IN THE STATE THAT I AM A VOTER, I GUESS.

IS ‘WANG POLITIK’ LINKED TO ANTI-TERRORISM OR MONEY LAUNDERING ACT, I GUESS OUR BNM KNOWS THE DETAIL, AND ITS UP TO AG@PUTRAJAYA TO DECIDE SINCE THE PAST LEADERS ALSO DID THAT WHAT.

P/S: WEARING TUDUNG CAN GIVE HAJAR THE ‘HAK ISTEMEWA’ TO FETNA YANG BUKAN2?

    Salam Dearest Tun Dr. Mahathir,

Tun, I’m with you on this matter. The total amount (stolen money + penalty!) must be returned.

If a person could not justify where exactly the money (more than RM1 BILLION) came from, and simply claimed that it was given by someone (donation?) for free (but later claimed that it was a loan – but no written agreement/contract), then something was not right somewhere.

Of course, a thief will never admit that he/she is a thief.

And of course people who like to condemn/accuse others (‘memfitnah’) will all kinds of lies and stupid/false allegations will never admit that they are the ones who are doing something very wrong – committing big sins.

It’s like spitting towards the sky! (Meludah ke langit…). LOL!

Talking about sins, it’s a big sin to accuse someone of something (criminal acts) without concrete proofs. Yeah, unlike the case where RM42 Million was DEPOSITED into someone’s PERSONAL ACCOUNT (concrete proof)!

And yet this crook claimed that he was being scammed! Such a lame @ stupid defense! I hope the judge is not someone who cannot think properly @ stup*d!

I’ve never heard someone claiming to be scammed whereby the scammer had deposited MILLIONS of Ringgit into his/her account. In that case, I would also love to be scammed! Any takers? Scammers? Please ‘scam / con’ me by giving me RM42 Million…

    P/S:
    – It’s okay (in Islam) to reveal criminal acts of bad @ corrupt leaders (and gang) for the benefit of the ‘rakyat’.

    Thank you Tun.

-May Allah SWT bless Tun and family-

    Singapore elections.

It looks like Prime Minister Lee has decided to go to the polls as soon as possible. That seems like a good idea before the island economy get any worse, which it will very soon.

As Malaysia normally looks at its island cousin in a lot of matters, this also looks like a signal for the current government to call for a snap elections too. Better now before the economy gets any worse next year.

End of the year is a good time.

The different attitude,The Image of The Political
The Lawful Approach , The Enforcement , The Parliament
Of Singapore & Malaysia is far two difference
We need to compare as to improves not to deprives

We see it on our Screen
    News, Youtube, Social Media etc

In Singapore Parliament. They are much professional & wiser
    They don’t throw much words
Behaves as to convey the massage and delivers it well to the people

    In Malaysia…….Alamak !
    Ranggau….tolong duduk , tolong…lah
Macam Kedi, Kepala Bapa Hang, pemakan dedak ,,, Alamak
    Macam cerita P.Ramlee lah
Eh….Suar asik bangkang bila kes nak habis

    PDRM Malaysia
Bolih ajak Bergurau .Bolih ajak berbual tepi…. macam main sepak takraw
    Macamanalah Rakyat nak Respect
    Di Singapore
None is above the Law. Ignorant of The Law is No Excuse
Mereka Tegas & Jaga Kesopanan dalam menjalankan tugas
Takbolih nak ajak berbual atau bergurau
Cakap banyak tarik , bawa balik Balai baru berbual

PDRM layankan berbual sampai PDRM sendiri kena maki hamun
Hanya tunggu masa nak kena ludah
    Jika PDRM tidak berubah sikap

    Di CIQ Johor , Malaysia
Counter Gelap, tapi dalam ada Pegawai
    Ada sibuk dengan main Handphone
Custom , Check pun sikit lebih kurang macam tak nak check
    Dia sama dia banyak berbual
Ada yg hisap rokok pula tu

    Beza Sikap sungguh dengan Singapura
    Mereka Tegas dan Penuh Displin

    Begitu juga jika
Kes Najib & The Geng jika Tidak ada Keadilan dalam Kehakiman
Maka Tidak Perlu Hormat pada Kehakiman Malaysia

AT ONE POINT, WE WANT CHEAP LOW SKILLED LABOURS, AT THE OTHER POINT, WE WANT SKILLED AND EXPERIENCED LABOURS BUT CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY MORE, BUT PRIORITY MUST BE GIVEN TO MELAYU FIRST.

I ALREADY SAID, THE PURCHASING POWER OF KAUM MELAYU IS STILL VERY VERY VERY LOW EVEN WHEN BUMI QUOTA AND NEP FAVORED THEM FOR DECADES.

DO THESE PEMBODEK UNDERSTAND WHAT GDP MEANS?

I THINK THEY DONT UNDERSTAND SINCE TO THEM BODEK IS THE KEY FACTOR WHEREBY WINNER TAKES ALL, LOOSER TAKES ALL.

ALL THEY CARE IS HOW MUCH THEY CAN WOLLAP, SELEJAP MELAYU SUPREMACY, SEKEJAP MOSLEM SUPREMACY, SEKEJAP RCI JANJI MENANG.

SAD, AND UNFORTUNATE, BUT I PREFER TO SEE THESE EVENTS AS PART OF THE JOURNEY THAT ALL COUNTRIES NEED TO GO THROUGH.

THE KEY QUESTION THEY NEED TO ASK, MAMPU ATAU TIDAK TO GO SOLO.

HISTORY DOES NOT LIE, BUT LYING IS HUMAN NATURE.

THEY CANNOT EVEN DIFFERENTIATE PR CAMPAIGN IN MYR AND MONEY POLITICS IN MYR, SO HOW?

OIL FIELD TOO IS NOT LIKE KEDAI MAKAN WHEREBY IMPORTED LOW SKILLED WORKERS CAN BE REPLACED, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE AT PUTRAJAYA@RULING GOVERNMENT WANTS OPEN AND CLOSE WITH SNAP OF FINGERS.

TRADE DEAL BETWEEN USA AND CHINA IS OFF, SO HOW?

    PLEA BARGAIN?

BY THE END OF THE DAY, SEMUA ADALAH SALAH KAUM BABI CINA, YANG BETUL ADALAH SIBOTAK SAJA.

JIKA TAK NGAM, THEN, NO NEED TO NEGOTIATE.

MOVE ON, TAKKAN LAH MALAYSIA BOLEH DILENYAKKAN BEGITU SAJE KERANA SIBOTAK IS TAKUT MALAYSIA IS GONE.

Sebenarnya Tun in dah tak sepopular macam zaman dulu. Wall FB penuh dengan cerca macam zaman Najib nak jatuh dulu. Memang ada team buang komen2 negative tapi nampaknya tak berjaya dilakukan.

    Tun M,

Not to mention DSAI dapat keampunan. Team Tun, cakap mandat rakyat tapi sebenarnya bila ada kuasa mandat rakyat telah disia siakan.

Pada I gini aje la, usah cakap pasal anak orang lain jika anak sendiri serupa. Usah cakap apa DSAI kata jika dia pun dulu kutuk anak2 Tun berkati-kati. Usah cerita la Tun pilihan PM, DAP dan Amanah or even Warisan. Mereka semua perlukan Tun jadi PM hanya nak bentuk kerajaan. Jadi kerajaan Tun pun diketepikan. Kalau Tun degil hari2 mereka kacau.

My summation time Najib kaki joli, time Tun kaki auta, time TSMY kuat kerja. Anytime I pilih PN under TSMY leadership.

    Assalamualaikum Tun.

This is what really puzzle me.

Is this a pure act of PN government, or a strategy by the prosecution team to get DS Najib into jail?
Or could it be due to the fact that the prosecution team themselves didn’t feel that they are going to win the case?

I wish the lead prosecutor could reveal the truth. May be you could?

In any case, until DS Najib cases are concluded, I want to believe that the plea bargain for Riza is a possible strategy by the prosecution team to prove DSN is guilty.
Am I going to regret, Tun?

    Tun,

Maybe what he meant was that since the government has changed hands, then it is up to the new government to decide whether the case should proceed or not.. and it happened not to proceed (not a surprise there.. is it).

This is the problem with the country’s institutions. We do have an excellent judiciary, world-class and trained at the Inns of Courts in England. But here is the But. They are not independent of the government anymore, if I am not mistaken.

There is also one other thing. The country’s powerful Attorney General Chamber is basically a government agency, selected directly by whoever is in power. So, there is no surprise there.. if charges come and go like magic(!) It is not the law, but the implementation of the law. That’s the issue.

It is not like we are Italy or France.
