TOTAL VISITORS FROM 2008:

AMANAT HADI AWANG 52

This article appeared in the New Straits Times on Jan 3, 2013

1. From its inception the leaders of the Pan Malayan Islamic Party (PMIP) now known as PAS (Parti Islam SeMalaysia), in their quest for support condemned UMNO members as infidels (kafir) for cooperating with non-Muslims. This was followed in April 1981 by Hadi Awang’s statement that UMNO members are kafir (infidels) because UMNO perpetuates the constitution of the colonialist, perpetuates the rules and regulations of the infidels, perpetuates the rules of the pre-Islamic Arabs, the Jahiliah. Because of these things the struggles of PAS constitute a jihad (holy struggle), their speeches are jihad, their donations (to PAS) are jihad. Because of their struggle (war) against these people (UMNO members), if they die they become syahids (Islamic martyrs) they die in Islam. He said that they don’t have to be a Jew, don’t have to be a Christian, don’t have to be Hindu or Buddhist, they become infidels if they separate politics from religion.

2. The effect of these two pronouncements is far more than is generally known. They have resulted in a deep split among the Malay Muslims who are all Sunnis and followers of the same Imam, Imam Shafie. Usually the splits within the Muslim community are due to the interpretations and teachings of different Imams. Thus the Sunnis and the Shiahs are so deeply divided that they regarded each other as non-Muslims. As a result they have been fighting and killing each other for more than a thousand years.

3. There was no such division among Malay Muslim until PAS was formed. Immediately PAS declared that those who did not join it are infidels (kafir). But the most potent cause of the split among Malay Sunnis is due to the pronouncement of Hadi Awang, presently the President of PAS. His diatribe against UMNO and condemnation of UMNO Malays as kafirs (apostates or infidels) has resulted in the rejection of PAS members of UMNO Imams during prayers. They would hold separate prayers behind their own Imam.

4. PAS members even build their own mosques, refuse to eat meat slaughtered by UMNO supporters, reject the validity of marriages officiated by UMNO kadis, and bury their dead in separate burial grounds.

5. Members of the same family who are UMNO followers are shunned by those who support PAS.

6. In fact PAS members truly believe that the 3 million UMNO members, their families and their supporters are not Muslims. They are all kafir or infidels and apostates.

7. Malays are not usually violent but there have been deaths such as those in Memali where police personnel and PAS supporters lost their lives. Because we don’t have the regular violence and killings as occurred in other Muslim countries where the Muslims are divided into Shiah and Sunnis, the split and animosities between the Muslim Malays are not so noticeable. It is only during elections that this split becomes a factor.

8. PAS members have become so fanatical in their support for the Party that even when the Party and the leaders breach their own injunctions they continue their blind support of the party. Thus after saying that UMNO is kafir because it works with kafir, now that PAS has done exactly the same, PAS members continue to support their party. Their fanaticism seem to blind them to the hypocrisy of their leaders.

9. It is perhaps worthwhile to examine the pronouncements of Hadi Awang because most PAS members look up to him as infallible and sinless (ma’asum). What indeed does Hadi mean when he made his amanat of 1981.

10. He said that PAS is opposed to UMNO because it had perpetuated the constitution of the colonialist. Which part of the constitution is he referring to?

11. The constitution adopted by Malaysia upon independence provides for :

a) A constitutional monarchy;

b) A parliament elected by the people;

c) An Executive Prime Minister and Cabinet from the party or representatives who have the support of the majority in Parliament;

d) The separation of power between the executive, the legislative and the judiciary;

e) The rule of law and equality before the law;

f) Trials conducted by the courts where the procedures include evidence by witnesses and also circumstantial evidence;

f) The monarch to appoint the Prime Minister or Chief Minister based on the support of the elected legislators but may not dismiss the Government so formed unless a vote of non-confidence has been passed against the Government concerned;

g) Freedom to believe in and practice other religions and

h) No imposition of Islamic law on non-Muslims.

12. There are elements of the western non-Muslims concepts of governance in all these and more. If PAS consider their acceptance make UMNO kafir, what would PAS replace them with. Would PAS want the:

a) Constitutional monarch to be replaced with an absolute monarch?

b) Would PAS wish to replace elected Parliaments with a Dewan made of nominees of the absolute ruler?

c) Would PAS accept a Prime Minister and his Cabinet appointed by the monarch even if they are not supported by the majority of the members of the Dewan?

d) Would the separation of power between the executive, the legislative and the judiciary be abolished?

e) Should there be no rule of law?

f) Should trials be conducted without need of duly-appointed judges in legally constituted courts?

g) Should courts only find an accused person guilty if there are four witnesses of high-standing to vouch for the facts of the crime?

h) Should constitutional evidence such as DNA and thumbprints be rejected?

i) Should the monarch be given the power to appoint and dismiss the Government at his whim and fancy?

13. To clear the air and to give the religions basis for the pronouncement of Hadi Awang that the constitution is colonial, he must explain how the Malaysian Constitutions has to be changed so as not to be a perpetuation of the colonial constitution.

14. I suspect he would answer that I am not qualified to question him as I am not a religious scholar. But I would be living under Hadi’s constitution if his PAS adorers were to give him victory in the 13th General Election. As a citizen I must know what I would be in for, even if the DAP and its supporters don’t want to know. And I believe many citizens, Muslims and non-Muslims would want to know.

15. DAP may believe that they would be able to handle Hadi and his “Amanat”, but the DAP struggle to do this will destabilise the country, preventing it from developing and growing.

What Anwar did during his young time in UMNO/ BN was good for Malaysia and the region. What Anwar is doing now is bad for Malaysia and the region.
What a glaring contradiction? Why did Anwar join UMNO in the first place if UMNO was too bad. Where is the consistency? Shouldnt a good leader be consistent in his stand?
How can principles change so fast? Why is this double standard within oneself? A person who can practice double standard within himself, he can set a standard for each person in this country. No justice. No keadilan will be done to anyone. The rich will be freed even if they are criminals. The poor will have no where to seek justice. Anwar is not a consistent leader. He is unfit to lead an industrialized nation like Malaysia. Anwar may be good to run uneducated region like that of Madhura in Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Or Anwar should try his luck become PM of Bangladesh. Emotional people will love emotional leaders. Industrialized nation like Malaysia needs visionary and pragmatic leader like Tun Dr. Mahathir Bin Mohamed who brought prosperity to Malaysia.

Before I could say Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad Sir, there is a news item in the Singapore Government owned Straits Times which apparently spoke on behalf of the DAP of Malaysia, exhorting the good and distinguished Tuan Haji Hadi Awang of PAS to renounce, condemn, retract, say sorry, etc to his very own words that he had pronounced in the past which now makes it extremely uncomfortable for DAP to consummate. You know, the DAP of the ‘technical glitch’ election fame !

Why does not the DAP of Malaysia say so directly to the distinguished Tuan Haji Hadi Awang that it is against his honourable thoughts and words ? Are the followers of DAP sic PAP in consonant with the leadership which is in play on both sides of the political divide ? Is opacity and non-transparent at play in the march of the thousands to Putrajaya ?

Three extremist political parties of Malaysia sleeping in the same bed with 3 different dreams !
This must be the World’s first !

Vote BN. All Malaysian especially the Malaysian Chinese. Keep your sanity and reason and vote for BN which does not play around with your hearts and minds with thick smoke and faulty mirrors !

What seems to be lacking is that some Malaysian Chinese thinking one thing, speak another and have a heart specailly for Daddy.

In the past two years, I noted 2 American diplomats said in Singapore that this country should move closer to America. I was puzzled by this remark. I thought the Singapore hierachy is already close enough. But on second thought I realized that the going concern of the Americans is that they too have noticed the stumbles of Lee Kuan Yew’s policies and the indeterminable consequences arising therefrom.

As the No. 1 superpower in the World, the Americans would have culled information from their super-computers years ago of the things to come in post-Lee Kuan Yew who possibly assured the great United States Government all the time that he is the only person who can keep the peace in South-East Asia especially our beloved Malaysia. And so it is in this murky world of shadow diplomacy, a’la Wikileaks ! This gave rise to the anxiety of the United States in view of post-Lee Kuan Yew at a time when there is distinct shift in their policy of shifting the emphasis to the East. To top this off, our beloved Malaysia has become the Mother of all choke-points, not the tiny Straits of Singapore. And last but not least, we have on our very shores, the DAP foundered by Lee Kuan Yew, the foreign inspired PKR, and the distinguished PAS who whatever may care, hunger for power. Their theme songs seem to be right out of the CNN every night. Going for a change of the BN Government as led by the UMNO. Use every trick which has been applied on the Arab world to kick the BN Government out.

I like to point out at this juncture that I am not anti-American. In fact, I quite like Americans as I quite like the rest of Humankind. I used to work for one of the U.S. Government Agencies which was located here right in Kuala Lumpur for many years – 1947-1982. I am eligible to emigrate to the United States but I found I am a Malaysian Nationalist at heart and close to my compatriots.
I have also many relatives and friends in the States and was appointed as the only Asian adviser to one of their world famous institutions.

All I have to say is that it is not in the interest of America to ditch the BN Government as led by the UMNO who had been a friend to all countries including the United States. We were close during the Communist Insurgency, the Cold War and the Vietnam War. There were regular exchanges between the two Governments at the very top until this close relationship was loosen to focus on socio-economic development, The hiatus was astutely replaced by Singapore. I presume this close relationship with America could be resumed as with our national interest in East Asia with China, Japan and South Korea.

It is better to have a Malaysia which has been governed all these years in peace, harmony and well-being by the BN Government as led by the UMNO in the interest of the security and whatever for Singapore and the Region. Like the Japanese Imperial Army, the key to the security of Singapore is the Malaysian Peninsula.

America must not be misled by promises of better democracy, freedom and human rights by whoever who have no proven record of deliverance. It is better to stay with the BN Government as led by the UMNO which has delivered. Circumstances during the last 10 years brought this ‘one swallow does not make an Indian summer’ scenario right on our doorstep.

The BN Government as led by the UMNO will return to all that is best in the World at the turn of a hat in Malaysia’s own way as it had support the United States and the Western World during the Cold War and the Vietnam War – well before the Opposition leaders were born.

Vote BN. All Malaysians especially the Malaysian Chinese. The time has come for us to stand up and be counted.

    Sir Mubarak Chan,

I know that you have the Commonwealth Class, European gentleman style and qualities.

    Your English is perfect.

I do not go against you and The Star paper.

In this blog, we are talking about winning national polls all Malaysians including Sabah.

I am not looking at short term gains.

No doubt, Malaysia is built by BN coalition via vote buying.

But there is one thing that I do not agree with Tun Dr MM is when he mobilizes Perkasa to threaten Chinese as it makes Malays look bad and un-Islamic.

Will those Malaysian victims forgive and forget what he done?

    I do not know.

Only GE 13th can provide us the answer.

For Mr HBT456 and of the same ilk. Please do not think for a moment that people who are older than you will die first. I have an authentic list of the good and the great, from the top to the bottom who thought I would die first, some even said it to my face. This list has 51 names and the youngest who died was only 39 ! RIP folks !

Vote BN. All Malaysians especially the Malaysian Chinese. We must never listen to distorted minds with the intent to distort our minds !

Seah Chiang Nee should retire by now and let some new columnist to replace him to tap new readers if The Star wants to be no. 1 English paper in Malaysia.

Photogenic scenes of masses of people should not deter the true Malaysian nationalist who is well-informed and loyal. Hitler’s Munich had similar scenes in the 1930s which Herr Alfred Wilner understands very well. All the Germans followed Hitler blindly to their horrible deaths. As Lee Kuan Yew once said one must grow barnacles in his heart at times of crises or faced with a difficult situation. It is surprising that there are people who avoid learning the true facts of political life associated with the failures of leaders. All the failures of Singaporean Policies were unacceptable to these sycophants who happened to be Malaysian Chinese and they should know better that in times of real crisis, Singapore will not do anything to help. Lee Kuan Yew has already said that the gate of castle Singapore might not be open to refugees. He had said so. We must believe him since he is the one man ruler of Singapore for over 54 years.

Lee Kuan Yew’s abiding interest is in the general interest of a successful Singapore which will last forever and forever. He is definitely not interested in the welfare of the Malaysian Chinese but only to use them. So, we are left to ourselves alone to stand on our own two feet. DAP is not going to be of help either considering their all-out way of doing things with no U turns.

The problem which is troubling the Malaysian Chinese today did not arise today. It is inherent in the history of British Malaya when the different races were compartmentalised in everything including sports. And the commercial intent of the new residents. This is the historical baggage the Malaysian Chinese have to bear if they do not have a mind-set which set them on to the path of Malaysian Nationalism and progress for themselves and their fellow compatriots. This historical baggage is what maybe called the ghettos of their minds. To compound this in-born difficulty, some Malaysian Chinese are either chauvinist or yellow bananas and most of the younger ones are hollow with no cultural ballast.

To progress, their minds should open up to the acceptance of their compatriots on even terms. But because of Lee Kuan Yew’s famed brainwashing machine, the Malaysian Chinese in all their innocence took all that Singapore offered by way of bluffology, hook line and sinker.

As in all that is connected with the affairs of Humankind, a person must gauge carefully in the mind from true facts what is right and what is wrong in his or her interest.

And the political parties of the Malaysian Chinese let them down without even practising one iota of realpolitik even the DAP ! Their job would have been to educate the Malaysian Chinese within the political socio-economic context of independent Malaya/Malaysia. This takes time. See how difficult it is for the Singapore Government to persuade their citizens even to procreate !

Unfortunately, I see very clearly that if the Malaysian Chinese do not vote BN under the leadership of the UMNO at least even for one more term, confusion will arise despite all the beautiful rhetoric from the Opposition. And for the BN as led by the UMNO to return to normality is as simple as ABC and we do not need the PR or Lee Kuan Yew to do it. Beautiful speeches should not erase the record of the BN as led by the UMNO nor white-wash the fault lines of the Opposition if any !

It is easy to destroy but very difficult to build up a young and up-coming Nation like our beloved Malaysia. We have seen this time and time again in other countries.

It is also better for the security, prosperity and future of Singapore post-Lee Kuan Yew that the BN as led by the UMNO rules the roost in Malaysia. This Malaysia has proven so in terms of all matters considered.

Vote BN. All Malaysians. Especially the Malaysian Chinese. Some of them find my facts of the failure of Lee Kuan Yew’s failed policies boring and unacceptable in the face of great uncertainty in this normal country which we call Malaysia. Strange. My facts are from Singaporean sources and Seah Chiang Nee’s Column in the Star because the facts are unavailable in Malaysia. I did not concoct any of them.

Kalau tuntuah allows umat Islam to create wealth from our beloved dead one via paid cemetery land occupation, I think not only umat Islam marah, Chinese and other races will maki hamun Kerajaan Malaysia kita.

For Hongkongers, they are evolving from the style of Premier Deng Xio-Peng’s footstep by spreading the ashes into the sea to allow space for those who are alive and needs home.

Hongkong is an island and free port and is very populated dominated by Chinese cultures and beliefs.

Today, Hongklongers have choice to bring their beloved death ones to be cremated in the land of mainland China.

Singapore is an Island and free port and is populated dominated by multi-racial population.

Therefore, like what Amin Tan commented, Singapore is a well-managed garden city built by muti-racial population that we should emulate if UMNO/BN wants to rule Malaysia forever.

    Tuntuah,

Prediction based on Mayan calender said the world will be destroyed.

Nothing happens, thanks to Science and Mathematics breakthroughs.

What happened in the past, we can’t change.

But, whoever did wrong, they should “bertaubat” in all worship areas that they are comfortable with, contohnya, Tuntuah can do it in surau as they are easily accessible for Muslim to calm their hearts.

For me, I will still take grilled pork as main dish to worship my ancestors who left this human world.

For me, I will still take pork as main dish as mark for Chinese New Years and other festivals wrt Chinese calendar recognized by the world.

Kalau tuntuah suruh umat Islam to control this non-Islamic businesses, it will make Islam un-Islamic in the eyes of the world leaders and Malaysians.

The problem with some Malaysians today is that they are so innocent about the world at large and only skim on the surface or whatever it takes them to absorb simply what fancies them. The facts which I have brought up about Lee Kuan Yew’s Singapore are unacceptable to these kind hearts. Little do they know the real loss which Malaysia had suffered at the hands of others who have no abang and adek in their hearts. Singapore is often treated just like a wonderful Malaysian State due to years of brainwashing. I am not finding fault with Singapore. But since they always were accustomed to be the best in everything, it is only sensible and normal to see how good these Singaporeans are or were. For example, for years without fail, the Singapore Business Times gave patronising advice in their columns to Malaysia to how best to run their economy by junior journalists based in Kuala Lumpur.

In January 2012, there was strong advice by this particular Journal that the Malaysian Government must take action against the people behind the NCF cattle project. But somehow as if by the wave of the magic wand, the Singapore Business Times avoided sanctimonous advice to Malaysia since the lst quarter of 2012. Strange. Is this because some real facts about Singapore cropped up in the interim.

Since there are these Malaysian Chinese admirers of the titan Lee Kuan Yew and Singapore’s greatness over and above the titanic mistakes, I love to carry on to present my facts to these loyal citizens of our beloved Malaysia who are great admirers of the awesome Lee Kuan Yew. They claim they vote BN but their hearts are with Daddy. And these people seemed to be English speaking Malaysian Chinese teachers and nurses.

Vote BN. All Malaysians especially the Malaysian Chinese. Please realise we have to stand on our two feet in our beloved Malaysia. All the smoke and mirrors as conjured by the DAP and Lee Kuan Yew cannot help us. Our destiny is with the BN as led by the UMNO. No more. No less.

A lot of people boasted that they have been here and there.

Been there and lived there will create a different story.

Been there you only saw beautiful things because that were what u want to see.

Lived there, you were forced to see. Hence a lot of bad things you saw.

So clean, beautiful, good, whatever lah will be your story when you said you have been there.

I am very grateful if malaysia dont have pork, because the country is very much clean without that animal.

  14. amin tan Jan 12,2013 11:51 PM

    Dear Tun,

Please allow me to disagree with Mr Mubarakchan.

    Dear Mr Mubarakchan,

    you say,

“”5. The perfunctory Judiciary is well-known throughout the World.””

It is well known that Mr Lee Kwan Yew is an excellent lawyer graduated from Cambridge University. As the Prime Minister, he brought stability and reduce wasteful politicking in Singapore. Every where in the world, Malaysia included, sour grape and ambitious opposition politicians would do any thing to discredit the legally elected government of the day. For example , opposition politicians in Malaysia indulge in defamation of our government leaders without any proof at all. They make sweeping accusation that UMNO and the government are corrupt . In Singapore, the opposition politicians are sued for defamation until they become bankrupt. In Malaysia, our Datuk Ambiga can organise illegal and destructive street demonstration. No such nonsense would be tolerated in Singapore. I say Judiciary in Singapore is doing its job and effective to make sure everybody is law abiding.

When I say Singapore is clean as opposed to dirty, we should appreciate cleanliness. They enforce measures to make Singapore clean. In Malaysia, we employ street sweepers but no supervision. As a result, we can still see clogged drains, plastic bottle and rubbish thrown every where. Crimes in Malaysia are also worse like highway robbery, car theft, snatch thief. Let us not deny and find excuses by saying we must see not look, do not mistake the tree for the forest. We cannot allow the evil element of the human factor to reign supreme by allowing rubbish to be thrown every where, opposition politicians make unfounded allegations, create anarchy in the streets by Datuk Ambiga. I cannot understand why you continue to find fault with Mr Lee Kwan Yew and Singapore. Indonesians and Bangladeshi come to Malaysia to work and earn their living. Malaysians in turn go to work in Singapore. Let us not continue to waste time and space over inconsequential petty semantics and never ending argument . Let us move on.

Mr Mubarakchan, I see that you are obsessed with Lee Kwan Yew and Singapore. There is not a posting of yours without mentioning Lee Kwan Yew or Singapore and repetitive. I am sorry for writing this long posting from Singapore. I think I would not dwell on this topic again, it is so boring. Singapore is clean, efficient, safe but a boring place.

    Tun

At a time like this, for Malaysia who gained her Merdeka since 1957 and Singapore which has been ruled by Lee Kuan Yew since 1959, I am surprised there are Malaysians who cannot see the wood from the trees.

I state here categorically that I do not hate Lee Kuan Yew or your goodself Tun ! A person who wishes to express himself or herself in the public arena must be able to view the facts without putting on coloured glasses or behave like a tourist, only look but could not see.

First, I like to state that what some of our compatriots have been saying all the time that Singapore is the 3rd richest country in the World, the streets are clean, the schools standards are world class, meritocracy is practised, there is no corruption, many shining buildings etc. etc. These I agree.

But where is the human touch ? The commonsense, the ability to think out of the box and the compassion ! And for a small place like Singapore, are all these wonderful things sustainable without the dynamic creativity and originality of Humankind ?

It was sustainable until the end of the Cold War during which Singapore benefitted handsomely like the salvaging of the waste war material from Vietnam and the arms trade amongst other things. But unfortunately, with the new World of Pax America, the World of Globalization, Free Trade and Human Rights coupled with the World of the Web, profits which used to be easily garnered, shrank and another New World arose. The minor movements of politics, trade and social endeavours were masked by the continuing rise of Wall Street which perfectly followed past history. It crash with a huge repercussion taking Singapore with it. Singapore lost US$ 108 Billions (RM350 Billions) in October 2008. The riches which were gained with sweat and hard-work since 1959 !

And some said that there is no crime in Singapore. Rightly or wrongly, I was told that there were 4,000 registered gangsters in 1972 but by now there are none. Maybe they are all there in Johor Baru during office hours !

I definitely know many Singapore multi-billionaires and milionaires gained their wealth outside Singapore and return home to their families and do nothing untoward in Singapore. So, Singaporean money is sloshed around outside Singapore.

Since Lee Kuan Yew ruled Singapore alone for over 50 years, and since he is a titanic world leader, as a student of local politics I must objectively look into his greatness which most Malaysians have mentioned over and over again. The equation must balance which is the negative side.

    1. Money was used as an instrument of Foreign Policy on friendly countries which resulted in unending turmoil. Malaysia never did this and only aped Singapore in the last 10 years on investments without much thought.

    2. The loss of US$108 Billions (RM350 Billions) of Trust money in October 2008 on Wall Street. According to ‘Malaysian Maverick’, Malaysia lost RM100 Billions over 22 years which I can put this down to development expenditure since 1957 ! If Singapore had invested in gold, she controls the World and Malaysia today !

    3. The 2 child family Policy of 1970s and 1980s which might have contravened Clause 16 of the United Nations Universal Charter for Human Rights.

    4. Humanity and Multiculturalism were not practised. Many places of worship and cemeteries were removed until it was suddenly realised that Singapore might have ended up with no heritage.

    5. 5,000 pigs are imported daily. The contracts. The sale of Kim Eng Securities to Maybank. etc

    6. Singapore has been ruled by one person since 1959. During this period, Malaysia had 6 Prime Ministers who were elected democratically.

To those who have relatives in Singapore, I do not blame you for your view of the positive side of Singapore. But try to understand why the population only procreates 1.2 in 100 or why the streets are clean and tidy. Singapore is ruled strictly by the rod through the laws. If you have more money than your girlfriend, would you marry her and then a divorce happened. You may have to give her half of your wealth.

Two things for all Malaysians to bear in mind are that Singapore’s confidence is now entirely dependent on Lee Kuan Yew and the Golden Years of the Cold War might never return.

And for Malaysia, especially those who savour its normality everyday. it is a runaway success as compared with Singapore’s failure in HUMAN TERMS. Forget about the clean streets and fine buildings. The Tortoise and the Hare – unless there are hidden hands who do not this to be so.

Vote BN. All Malaysians. Especially the Malaysian Chinese. Malaysia is a friend to all. No need to kick out the BN which can return to normality just like that. BN record is there for all to see. It is the soul and spirit of governance that is important not the sex and money scandals which are common everywhere. Learn to see and not look.

    5. The perfunctory Judiciary is well-known throughout the World.

  16. HBT456 Jan 12,2013 3:35 PM

Look at our government hospital in Sg Buloh, air-conditioned, cheap and halal but filled with flies.

  17. HBT456 Jan 12,2013 3:06 PM

    Hi Amin Tan,

I have traveled many places when I was young.

I agreed with you your experience with that All the food in government hospitals are cheap and halal. Please do not say to be poor and dirty is better.

I have this experience too in Tungshin Hospital, KL.

Look at our government in Sg Buloh, air-conditioned, cheap and halal but filled with flies.

I guess the food served in Kebangsaan schools run by Malays have this flies problem.

I do not know whether they have improved the situation or not.

The only way to make people learn cleanliness and hygiene is to make sure they have to pay either service charge or penalty.

    I do not anti-religion.

But if political parties keep pushing religions to zero sum game, Malaysia will be more regressed and divided when politicians are more interested to get votes from the poor.

Good day, and a Happy New Year to you.

    Dear Tun,

Please allow me to elaborate on HBT456,

“”People’s Republic of Chinese nationals who are progressive no longer take afternoon nap when Premier Deng Xio-Peng opened China economy to the world.

People’s Republic of China Central under today’s President Xi Jin-peng has made a national policy to cut down military operating expenses by banning top military officials by holding grand and expensive functions to get themselves lobby.

I was a resident of Subang Jaya.

I left Subang Jaya because I did not feel great there.

Today, Subang Jaya is full of high rise condominiums and apartments.

Subang Jaya is an attraction to middle to high income non-Muslim owners from Sabah and Sarawak too.

Unfortunately, today Subang Jaya has become a Muslim Pakistan cum Bangladesh areas.””

    Dear HBT456,

I visited Beijing, China with my family last month. China has 2 systems working side by side. One is the Communist system, the People’s Republic of China and another is the Capitalist system to deal with foreigners. I find that the Communist system is better, when I take public transport like the bus and under ground train. The bus driver and conductor are helpful and friendly. The same is with the underground train. The underground train is excellent comparable to that of Singapore and London. Any destination riding underground train or bus it is only rm1. If you take taxi, you would surely be cheated. We took train to Badaling from Beijing to visit the Great Wall, it costs us only rm3, whereas, taxi wanted to charge rm500 for a returned trip. In China cheating is rampant. Given a chance, the Chinese would cheat. I attribute this to being not having any religion, no inhibition at all to cheat and swindle others. Even you, HBT456 speak negatively of religion especially islam. When I first went to Mecca in 1979, after praying in the Al Haram mosque, I was sad to observe that there was no Chinese, especially Malaysian Chinese in Mecca. How I wish if majority of Chinese in Malaysia are Muslims like me, surely Malaysia would be a great country, peaceful, harmonious and blessed. There is absolutely nothing to lose for Chinese to become Muslim but every thing to gain, besides the priceless hidayah, they have moral and spiritual guidance. The Chinese do not understand the concept of god, but their arrogance, pride, chauvinism, racist inclination and their spiritual ignorance make them the biggest losers and yet they do not realise it. Their god is money and worldly wealth which is transient and short lived.

On the issue of using the word ‘Allah’, by the Christians in the Bible in the Bahasa Malaysia version alone, it clearly has hidden and sinister agenda. The Christians have the intention of confusing the Malays and converting Muslims Malays into Christians. Unfortunately, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Datuk Nik Aziz sided with the Christians due to their political loyalty to DAP. It clearly shows Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Datuk Nik Aziz are politicians without moral principle willing to trade off their religion to buy votes. If the Christians are sincere, they should use the word Allah in their Bible even in the English edition all over the world, including England, Australia, America and so on.

I migrated from Kota Bharu, Kelantan to Subang Jaya in 1982 and I have stayed there since. All my 6 children are brought up there. There are many foreigners in Subang Jaya. Students from Oman, Kazakhstan, Iran , Tanzania, Yemen, China come and study in Taylor College, Inti College, Sunway College, Segi College, Weat Minister College, Prime College and Metropolitan College. The Condomniums in Subang Jaya are expensive due to foreign ownership and demand. There are Japanese, Omani, Australians, Russians buying a second homes there. Now ISOLA condominium is coming up next to Empire. ISOLA will prove to be another success story.

I agree with HBT456 on the issue of Singapore. Singapore is the third richest country in the world, behind Sweden and Denmark. It is well managed. The City State is a garden city, very clean and safe. No robbery, minimum crime. We have to be realistic and sensible. Lee Kwan Yew is a capable person. There is no denying the fact. We do not have to say that Lee Kwan Yew and Singapore are failures. We are only kidding ourselves and the whole world is laughing at us. We should emulate the success of Singapore. The Malays there are more wealthy than the our Malays. Friday sermons are conducted in both English and Malay. All the food in government hospitals are cheap and halal. Please do not say to be poor and dirty is better.

The white tourists including Arabs like KL because Malaysians can speak English and friendly.

They like Malaysia because of her less hostile tropical weather.

Keep it up DS Ng Yen Yen.

KL can attract 28 millions foreign tourist arrivals in VMY 2014.

    Salam Hormat Yg Bhg Tun,

    Amanat Hj. Hadi Awang,

  22. PakCik Jan 11,2013 6:42 AM

Good morning Tun and fellow bloggers,
    1. I can conclude that what the holy Quran has mentioned about the iblis @ satan is true.

    2. Have some of you had the chance to debate with some ‘so-called ustazs’ especially from ‘deviant’ pondoks or PAS? I found that they have too much superegos (trying to show that only they know the best; religion, values, actions, etc) and that is why they try to indoctrinate us..to follow their teachings, even though they are off-track from the real Islamic teachings.

They always have the ideas to try to beat you in an argument, so long as they stay a winner – my conclusion is – they have support from the iblis @ satan, period. Look at nik aziz…he always has things to say, sometimes really ridiculous, but he will never apologize when he made mistakes, why? simply because the iblis encouraged him ‘as the tok guru, the mursyidul am’, he must not back off or show his weaknesses…especially talking or debating with those inferior in Islamic knowledge (my foot; he just bullshitting only because he/nik aziz spent his days studying hadis in India, not about Islam in total).

Have you heard of hadi’s comment about afghani as ‘primary school teacher only’ – my god, only the arrogant ones run down people like that. Why? Again, say thank you to mister iblis there.

    3. When I read about Islam, it’s about the way of life, between humans and god, between humans and humans and environments. Its about being good to self, others and the universe. Therefore, anybody instigating, or doing bad stuffs is contravening the Islamic teachings.

    4. Amanat hadi – what is the end results? Good or bad? More bad than good, right? Therefore, its unIslamic and for sure following the ways of iblis @ satan. So what happened to its followers? They are themselves satans.

    5. There are bloggers who said this amanat is a non-issue. For them, yes. But for the ‘real’ muslims…this is disastrous. Pakistan uses the so-called Madinah Constitution – but is Pakistan a better government? Only those being influenced by iblis @ satan will not see the truths – hey go and check out the PAS Hudud laws – there is a section that says if there is not enough evident to charge under hudud laws, go back to takzir – just like the ones being used in the courts now – fingerprints, DNA, witnesses, etc. Islam is great but iblis @ satan manages to influence the people – especially those in PAS.

This will show Mubarak Chan that Malaysians are TIRED, there won’t be another “13 May”, for if it happens; the reverse would be experienced, as we Chinese mostly, besides having sagging balls, are also cowards unlike Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

  24. mubarakchan Jan 10,2013 10:10 AM

    Tun

For Mr HBT456. I have dedicated my latest comment on Lee Kuan Yew and the Seven Dwarfs to you. The 7th Dwarf being the head honcho of an outfit which Lee Kuan Yew ignored for 44 years and it was alleged that they messed around in messes. True or false ? The gent was all decked out in his finest red Mandarin silks to receive his blessings from the great foreign titan Lee Kuan Yew as part of the Grand Tour of the Ulus.

Vote BN. All Malaysians. Especially the Malaysian Chinese. Our parents voted BN and also begot us who proved they were right to do so ! Do not be shy ! It is time we exercise the powerful word ‘nationalism’ in our mindset after over 55 years of Merdeka – Malaysian nationalism. Forget about this abang-adek nonsense between sovereign nations. This does not exist. Do not be hood-winked. Or else we find ourselves selling our grandmothers down river. This we must not do.

  25. The Hidden Secret Jan 9,2013 11:50 PM

    Peace!

AMANAT HADI AWANG HAS NO SIGNIFICANCE TO THE NON-MUSLIMS. I believe most of the Non-Muslims are aware that PAS could not possibly get more than 1/3 from the Parliamentary seats won by PR. As such, Amanat Hadi Awang or Negara Islam or Hukum Hudud will never be an issue to them.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elections_in_Malaysia

Does Amanat Hadi Awang has some degree of significance to the Muslims? The answer is both YES and NO.

For the UMNO Muslims, YES it is an issue for them.

For the PAS Muslims, NO it’s not an issue to them.

For some of the non-PAS and non-UMNO Muslims, YES it is an issue for them IF THEY DO NOT REALISED that PAS can do nothing because PAS is the minority in PR.

For some of the non-PAS and non-UMNO Muslims, NO it is not an issue for them BECAUSE THEY DO REALISED that PAS can do nothing because PAS IS THE MINORITY IN PR.

The fact and the truth is… Amanat Hadi Awang or Negara Islam or Hukum Hudud are not issues at all because PAS IS A MINORITY IN PR. The most PAS CAN DO IS TALK about Negara Islam or Hukum Hudud or Amanat Hadi Awang but, the fact and the truth is as a minority in PR, PAS IS INCAPABLE AND HAS NO CAPACITY TO IMPLEMENT THEM. So… there is nothing to worry about and there is no issue at all.

So what is the big deal when Hadi Awang said UMNO members are infidels? In this blog, people call me with all sorts of names. Some called me ‘HIPOKRAT’, some called me ‘kafir’, some called me ‘sotong’, some called me ‘musuh dalam SELIPUT’ etc. However, I do not see this as an issue and I am not worried at all because the most they can do is calling me with all sorts of names, but they can’t even touch me at all. They can do nothing to me. As such, I do not bother to react on them.

When there is nothing to worry, when there is no issue, why does Tun, UMNO, Utusan Malaysia, NST and TV3 bother to recycle the Hadi Awang’s 1981 amanat? This amanat become an issue only when you see it as an issue. If the UMNO members and supporters act the way I did when people called me with all sorts of names, they will not see Amanat Hadi Awang as an issue, they will not worry about it, they will not recycle it again.

Like I mentioned in my previous comment in a previous topic, the Malays are less sensitive on issues like corruption, abuse of funds etc. The Malays are more sensitive on religious issues. Both UMNO and PAS are aware about this fact. As such, thing which is not suppose to be an issue at all has been brought up and been recycled to make it as an issue to gain support from the Malays.

I believe Tun is not worried about Amanat Hadi Awang. In fact, Amanat Hadi Awang is good for UMNO as the amanat is helping UMNO in gaining the support from the Malays. Without the amanat, Tun could not possibly write this article.

    Regards.

    Salam YAB & diKasihi Tun,

    1. Hadi Awang mesti bertaubat.

    Terima kasih Tun.

*** Semoga Allah SWT melindungi Tun sekeluarga. ***

    Tun

Perhaps it is timely and at this juncture in our march towards the next General Elections to consider the many factors which surround the politicians who are the main actors or actresses in this forthcoming important event concerning our beloved country Malaysia. A lot has been left unsaid for too many years. Let us consider the following in order to view the whole plot.

    1. Malaysia has become the Mother of all choke points in the light of recent events due to her littoral location between the Straits of Melaka and the South China Sea. She is now of strategic geo-political importance especially to the super powers. The Japanese Imperial Army controlled Singapore from here. Due to the efforts of the BN as led by the UMNO, Malaysia is what it is – a land of peace, harmony and prosperity to the envy of some.

    2. Lee Kuan Yew is a titan whom the whole world knows he has a starred Double First in Law from the Univeristy of Cambridge and probably a Third Class in the Bar Finals London and is the one ruler of over 50 years over Singapore. He has admitted he had made some mistakes. But those I can discern are as follows :-

    i. The use of money as an investment as instrument of Foreign Policy. Whether it was a coinincidence or not, the turmoil in Thailand has not subsided since Singapore and a Thai-Malaysian resident took over control of the Prime Ministers business. This resulted in a lack of funds for the development of Southern Thailand was part of the Kingdom of Patani together with the present day Malaysian States of Kelantan and Trengganu from which Royal Sultans are descended. Any political socio-economic moves affecting the Malaysian States must vice-versa affect the Southern Provinces of Thailand. The interesting facet of this is embodied in the April 2008 visit of Kelantan by Lee Kuan Yew when he was making a triumphant Julius Caesar like tour of the Opposition captured Malaysian States. What was in his mind ? What was he up to ? What were his plans for the future which is now ? Let us not forget of Singapore’s strong presence in Thailand as was the Japanese Imperial Army in 1941. Is Lee Kuan Yew sojourn to Kota Baru was a repeat of the Japanese sea-landings on the Beach of Passionate Love ? Since this review of his troops, Singapore imploded beginning with the loss of US$108 Billions (RM350 Billions) of her citizens Trust money on Wall Street.

Was the involvement of the PAS with the DAP not carefully thought out in geo-political terms which might affect the cousins across the border ? Or PAS being used as a cat’s paw by the faceless digits from far beyond the distant seas ?

ii. The 2 child family Policy of the 1970s and the 1980s which significantly reduced the original Singaporean population to this day. This might have contravened Clause 16 of the United Nations Universal Charter for Human Rights.

iii. The huge loss of US$108 Billions (RM359 Billions) of Singaporean citizens Trust money on Wall Street in October 2008.

iv. The destruction of places of worship and the excavation of cemeteries throughout the island.

    v. Humanity and multiculturalism were never practised until the present exhortations by the Government.

vi. The perfunctory Judiciary which is well-known throughout the world. Vide. Admiral Canaris was demeaned by stripping him naked by Hitler and hanged naked with piano wires. The unfortunate and fortunate Dr Chee. The unfortunate and unfortunate Tan Koon Suan. Dr Woffles Wu. Howard Shaw. The Australian and German drug mules. etc.etc.

vii. 5000 pigs are imported daily. The flower nurseries contracts. The sale of Kim Eng Securities to Maybank.

viii. From 1959 to 2013, Malaysia had 6 democratically elected Prime Ministers, Singapore had one.

In comparison, from 1968 to 2013, the DAP found it a joy to be in opposition and only recently, it was alleged that the following events happened or to be proven.

    1. The settlement of the Talam debts with a staunch supporter of the UMNO and the MCA which ran into hundreds of millions of ringgits by the DAP.

    2. The opaque land deals by DAP politicians. So soon, Ah ?

    3. The controversy concerning the great DAP elections. How to contest a General Election without knowing who is fish or fowl ?

    4. The Penang State Government has proposed the formation of a Political Security Squad a’la Hitler’s Brown Shirts with jack boots to stomp around Malaysia. This will evolve into an army of many divisions. Each division has 25,000 personnal trained and armed by Singapore which has digits embedded in the Penang State Government to advise on projects. Charity should begin at home ! Will Pulau Pinang secede from Malaysia and form a Condominium with Singapore ?

Vote BN. All Malaysians especially the Malaysian Chinese. At least you know who you are voting for. And for the distinguished PAS, Beware of Greeks bearing gifts nowadays !

Peace Be upon You Dear Tun,

Its not surprising that the PAS die-hard supporters are Brainwashed by the PAS leaders.

They get all their information from Harakah, PKR and DAP newspapers (if you want to call it that). These are more like propaganda mouthpieces.

To then whatever is said in these printed media are the TRUTH and the Whole Truth.

The main stream media cannot be trusted as such they do NOT even bother to read them even if its given to them FOC.

When all the wild accuations (or FITNAHS) are wirtten in these newspaper…all PAS die-hards will believe 110% in it.

That is why they keep repeating what was said years ago about all the bad things about UMNO/BN. Even is Najib gives each of them RM1,000.00 they will say BN are stealing from the people. BN is arch enemy number ONE no matter what!

What shallow and naive kind of POLITICS is this??

Worst is that a good number of University Lectures, Senior Civil Servants and Teachers fall into this catagories….have the BN goverment been wasting their money sending these people to be educated and learned so they can be thinkers, critical thinkers..instead they are not better than the illiterate people whom places 110% on the ustaz who thought them about Islam. Without questioning the truth, authenticity of correctness of what they are told.

So forget about these die-hard foolhardy folks.

Lets focus on the fence sitters….now they are people who seeks and wants the truth. They can think critically with a sense of what is right and what is wrong.

Lets not get lost in the wood because we can’t see the forest from the trees.

Sanity, logic, rightousness and good sense shall prevail with is silent majority. They will make the right choice for Us All and the future of our Children and Grand Children.

    Stay Healthy Tun.

    salam Tun,

    Yo polo poyo,

Menurutnya, ketika menjadi peguam Azilah, beliau masih lagi ahli PKR.

    Tun,

What you mentioned are true and it is nothing magical or special, the people just need to grow up.
Where all those mentioned leaders come about? The people make them is the answer. The people like to hear and talk about the subject so those leaders use the subject as their tools. If the people like to talk and hear about durian then durian will become the main subject. (trying to be polite and dont want to use words that can be deem offensive as there are too many seriously negative people that like to change the meaning of someone else comments and wild wild accusation)

    Salam Tun.

PAS bercita-cita nak tubuhkan “NEGARA ISLAM” (ops sekarang sudah tukar kepada NEGARA BERKEBAJIKAN) tapi hanya bertanding 60 kerusi parlimen sahaja. Kalau menang semua kerusi pun tak mungkin mereka boleh lakukan tanpa sokongan PKR and DAP. DAP ternyata terang-terangan menentang penubuhan “NEGARA ISLAM” PAS, PKR pula x payah komen la sebab senantiasa berubah macam mengkarung! Jadi maksudnya apa?

Pelik jugak sama2 cintakan Allah, sama2 cintakan Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. berimamkan Imam Syafie tapi berbalah2. Semacam tak hormatkan pesan Nabi supaya umat Islam bersatu. Unity is strength. Bersatu teguh bercerai roboh. Bila dah roboh tinggal menang sorak aja lah.

Nampaknya orang2 PAS lebih keras amalannya dari orang2 UMNO. Tapi orang2 UMNO taklah kurang dari orang2 PKR. Kalau sebab amalan jadi ukuran, orang2 PKR pun PAS tak boleh ngam. Tapi setakat ni ok je. Rasa macam tak patut layan orang2 UMNO macam orang kafir.

Sebenarnya secara umum orang2 PAS nakkan negara diperintah ikut cara amalan mereka. Nak bersatu kena ikut cara mereka. Tapi kalau dengan PKR terpaksa ikut cara merekalah. Nanti dah menang bolehlah berunding semula dengan PKR nak perintah negara cara Islam (ikut amalan mereka). Kalau Anwar tak kasi? ntah, agaknya ikut cara PKR lah penyudahnya.

    salam Tun,

another excellent example of their forked tongues and conflicting statements for which they will have to answer at Padang Masyar.

    MAT SYABU

    salam Tun,

in addition to the 10,000 acres land deal to NgaNgekNgok, PAS also signed the Perjanjian Pangkor II. No wonder Nizar Lilin uttered the infamous words in DUN Perak regarding PAS never intended to establish an Islamic State! These people they have forked tongues!

    Salam Tun,

kenyataan2 dari pemimpin2 PAS yg jelas dan nyata mempersendakan hukum Hudud demi kepentingan politik mereka yg bertopengkan agama;.

    1. “Jika pakatan berjaya perintah Perak maka kita akan mentadbir berpandukan Buku Jingga!’ – Nizar Lilin ( hehe hudud langsung tak di sebut dlm buku jinggay!)

    2. Jika PAS perintah Terangganu, sebelum Suboh kita akan laksanakan Hudud! – Hj Hadi (sebelum PRU 1999).

    3. Hudud hanya 0.01% dalam hukum Islam – Hj Hadi (selepas PAS berjaya tawan Terengganu 1999).

    4. Hudud tidak boleh dilaksanakan di Kedah! – Dato Azizan MB Kedah.

Contoh2 terbaik i) Tabung Memali ( haram tau sebat duit anak2 yatim!) ii) Koperasi Kohilal iii) pemecatan Datuk Dr Hasan Ali dari PAS

  51. PAShit Jan 7,2013 6:40 PM

    salam Tun,

wow this is my current favourite topic!

now let’s see…hmmm…where do I start? Let’s begin with C.N. Al Afghani ! Hadi can deny all he wants but tha damage has been done. I guess this ular mak will have to answer at Padang Masyar for all his deeds…

Al-Afghani.
Mereka bersubahat kerana bersetuju mengundi UMNO.
